We were on a cycle tour and stayed here over night, in the centre of Karlstejn village (a good idea to see Karlstejn with fewer tourists). They knew well how to keep the bikes safe. The people were extremely efficient and helpful. The hotel was not large and our room was a bit short of window space, so a bit...

We wanted a place close to Prague so we could get up and have an early start to our day in Prague. The bonus was the Large Castle in Karisteijn. Problem was we got there just as the castle closed and we leaving to early in the morning to take an inside look.

Very poor and old equipment of the rooms - you can "smell it" immediately. Also bath room remembers better days :-/ Breakfast could be more rich. Boiled eggs, low quality salami, poor ham and some jam with some pastry is really not very trendy breakfast menu :-) At least staff is very friendly and nice. Location is also fine.

Have a nice weekend I spent there with my girlfriend. The hotel is beautiful right below the castle and the staff friendly and professional. There are beautiful cycling routes and a lot of beautiful places. I highly recommend

Didn't stay as just on a day trip. Dined outside in a very spacious and pleasant courtyard. Extensive multi lingual menu, staff spoke useful amount of English, served with a smile and food arrived speedily. Not haut cuisine but tasty fare at very reasonable prices, including drinks. Recommended.

Rather a tourist restaurant than a real bohemian inn. But the menu is available in several languages, waiters are friendly, the kitchen is fast and the meals are really tasty. recommended for a nice lunch after visiting the castle

Friendly waiter, menu in several languages, nice food with a home-made feeling, unbelievably cheap prices. We tried the trout, which was really nice and the strudel for dessert was completely fantastic!

Visiting Karlstejn we had not to much time for dinner. But just after entering this nice place you understand that snack isn't the word to be used)). They have menu in different languages and great range of dishes for very reasonable price! Besides we were sitting near by the fireplace and the feelings were really pleasant!))
