I have been a tourist in the city of Ambato for 4 days. The city is known as a "City of Flowers, Fruits and Bread", the people who live in the city are very kind, friendly and respectful, the in Ambato I have felt very happy because I have enjoyed all the natural places they are very beautiful and fun as a its parks and the Cathedral, it is mild climate is very relaxing. In the city of Ambato you can find different products and typical foods very delicious. It also has hotels with neat and clean rooms.
comfortable, clean, good service and satisfactory breakfast. Also the location and the view of the city added up for a pleasant stay. We felt pretty safe to walk around. The parking have security. Two Thumbs up for the service
This is a nice hotel with large bedrooms. The price of the room, which includes a very good breakfast, and parking, is reasonable. The restaurant serves excellent food though prices are somewhat expensive. Some rooms have been renovated. The rest of rooms deserve an up-date. I do recommend this hotel in Ambato.
We booked online based on a friends recommendation. We arrived early evening after a long drive. They showed us our small room and it did not have any windows. And no other form of ventilation. We requested a room with a window and they questioned why we did not know this was not our booking. The pictures do not show it. Then they showed a room with one queen and a child’s bed. Two adults this is not going to work. They refused to refund our money for us to go elsewhere. Then they showed a “suite”, which was a small dark room attached to a bedroom with a king-sized bed. We requested a fan and agreed to share because we were not willing to forfeit our money. That night my daughter saw ants crawling up on the couch by our luggage. Since it was over the kitchen the floor was hot. The bathroom vanity needed refinishing, the soap dish was on the floor, and the tile in the corner was cracked and moldy. More ants crawled in on Saturday into our luggage and my daughter found one on her jacket after we left. They are hard to see because of the poor lighting. The worst was she came back after midnight and was locked out. Thank goodness the driver waited with her. The neighborhood is shut down at night and isolated ! Would not stay here.…
First of all, there is no many place to stay in Ambato. It is just a small town, went to Ambato on business. It was my friend paid for it and made a reservation for me so that no complaint. Second, Hotel Ambato is pretty old with odd style. But the view which is awesome. If you do not really care about style, please do welcome. Third, their breakfast which is pretty acceptable. There are many bar around and some good restaurants. Grocery sore nearby. This quiet place to say I was not sleeping very well because there were so many sounds from dogs' barking at midnight, also you can head the voice next door. Bathroom is pretty limited space.
