Nice small camping 2 minutes walking distance from the Castellane main square and the Verdon river. The beach at the Lake Castillion at 10 minutes by car. Because of the loxation in the centre some traffic noise in the early morning, but we didn't find this very disturbing.

Lovely little camp site in walking distance of the town, they had a bbq night where the camp site sets out tables and a bbq and all the camp site can bring there own food and socialise together ( such a lovely idea). Would recommend, and stay again if was in the area. Village of Castallane is beautifully

The location is impeccable, very close to the centre of the town and all the main roads, easy wander in for dinner and supplies, amazing view of the Roc. Stayed in a 'superior chalet' which was a good size, nice balcony area, kitchen/dinning, separate bathroom, toilet, one bedroom with a small double bed and another with two singles. Some issues - a total of 15 amp of power in the chalet meant that we could only run one of the tiny heaters at a time or the safety switch would kick in and drop all power - in the middle of winter it would be freezing, it was cold in early spring. No bread/butter knives. Wifi only available in the main house area. The area needs a clean up, very long grass etc Any issues raised with the owner weren't well received.

If you are planning today here make sure you bring bedding, tea towels, towels, dish washing liquid etc and anything else you might think should normally be supplied. We asked for some washing up liquid and were told very rudely by the male who seemed to manage the place that we had to buy it ourselves. We booked 2 nights and had to drive 8 hours to get there and when we arrived and phoned at 9.15pm we were told that check in closed at 9pm, we still had to pay for the night but they wouldn't let us in and we didn't even receive a courtesy call. The cabin was a tiny flimsy pop-up dwelling that barely fit the 4 of us in. Next time I will be staying somewhere else where the service is more polite and the accommodation more comfortable.

Excellent value. Four people shared a mobile home/cabin for 3 nights. 70 euros/night for 4. Great to be able to buy food at the local market and cook "at home". Close to great motorcycle roads. Bedrooms and bathroom were very small with limited closet space, but we couldn't beat the rate. Kitchen was well equipped. Tent and camper accommodations were on the backside of the property. Wifi was very weak. Had to sit just outside the main reception office to get coverage. Best feature was the locale. Was an easy 3 minute walk to the heart of Castellane.
