This is a mom and pop hotel. We stayed in the family suite (room 1) and it was quite spacious. Bathrooms are good. Beds comfortable. Not most current decor but that didn't matter to us. Great location. There is no 24x7 desk clerk. Breakfast is self-serve. However the owners are very nice and very helpful.

One night was one night to much. I didn't sleep because the hotel room was so old and dirty it creeped me out. The bathroom had spiderweb with flies and the shower curtain had old hair and was dirty. This is not a classic old hotel, its a run-down old hotel who need refurbishment! Maybe a TV-show come and save... More

We are sorry that our hotel did not meet your expectations. As stated in our desciption, we are the oldest hotel in the valley, built in 1921. All bathrooms has been tiled and rebuilt during the last 3-4 years, the rooms are kept in the late 70's style. We have more than 70 photos of the hotel and the surroundings... More

Suitable for shooting any 'scary movie' this property offers moldy smells, worn beds, interior decor several decades old and a service - including self-serve breakfast from a refrigerator stocked by the staff the evening before (there is no staff present during night or morning) - that made sure I and my friends will never return. Ever.

An example where tripadvisor failed... This hotel is very run-down, the non-refurbished rooms are a catastrohpy, to be blunt... We got a refurbished once we complained, but the whole hotel smells like cold ashes, and the breakfast does not deserve to mentioned.

First of all, we are sorry that we did not live up to your expectations. Yes, our hotel is old, built in 1921, which is also stated in the online description. We have also tried to keep some of the aura from times past, by banning modern furniture, and using decorations and wallpapers in an old style, (especially in our... More

I stayed here for one night only, outside the summer season, on a business trip. The hotel is situated more or less at the riverbank, just across the main road (which has little traffic) from the village centre. It must be a delightful place on a warm summer evening. The recent hotel dates back to ca. 1920, but there was... More
