Villa Paradiso opens its doors to travellers looking for a wonderful vacation in the Baracoa region, staying at a cozy & welcoming home on a little hill kissed by the sea breeze and with an amazing view of the Miel Bay ("Honey Bay", the bay in Baracoa where the Miel/Honey river meets the sea). The house is only 6 blocks from Baracoa's vibrant downtown - yet up on the hill there's a relaxed countryside vibe. We have three bedrooms (different sizes & capacity 2 to 4 people) with private bathroom, air conditioning & fan, direct access to a terrace or balcony and to the rocks & plants garden (including 15 varieties of ferns from the region), all of it with a view of town and the sea that many locals consider to be among the best in Baracoa - take a look at the pictures! Your main host, Manuel de Jesús, is a former professor at Universidad de Oriente's Agricultural Sciences Department, where he lead the evaluation of education quality. His life partner, Roberto, works in the field of social justice and divides his time between Canada and Cuba. Both will be delighted to welcome you, offer you information about the region and suggestions/recommendations so you can make the most of your stay, whether you like Cuban cultural life, unblemished natural parks, beaches, rivers, hiking, cycling - or a mix of all them! We also offer breakfast and dinner upon request - traditional and creative Baracoan & Eastern Cuban cuisine, with options both for those who eat meat/seafood and those who are vegetarian or vegan. Tell us what you'd like! We welcome LGBTQI travellers! Please note: we have a small Havanese dog and a cat. We look forward to seeing you in Baracoa soon!
