We spent one night in Machampane, on our way from Kruger to Tofu. Our first impression was excellent: wonderful location, good accommodation and lovely mozambican staff ... Had a lovely stay. Bush walks accompagnied by Emile and Shane were very enjoyable and informative. Food was as good as can be expected at a remote place like this. The people are friendly and fun. Don't expect lots of big animals, luxurious tents, 24/7...More

Machampane was an unforgettable experience, and one of the more remote locations I have come across in Mozambique. I stayed there with my parents for one night, during which we went on two wilderness walks and ate some great good, I would definitely recommend it!
