Don't be fooled by the photos on this hotel's website. We booked a suite which, according to the website, is exquisitely decorated and has a Nespresso machine and iPod dock in the room. None of these claims are true. There may well be one room like that in the hotel, but the room we were given, the Avon Suite, was...

We were four staying for two nights. We were blessed with good weather and so able to sit out in the garden with trestles for drinks. A good sized car park and a field behind leading down to the river. My wife and I stayed in Malvern room. A comfortable room. The bay window facing the street and the curtains...

Recently returned from a weekend at The Angel. The staff were excellent, attentive and very friendly. The food was also good, not mitchelin standard but hot and wholesome. However, despite being advised that I am coeliac there was a definite lack of knowledge of gluten free food. The risotto was labelled gluten free and I asked them to check that...

After a 2 night stay at the angel in the Avon suite I'm astonished that they could assume that a human being would stay in such a "room" stinking dirty, freezing cold not fit to be store cupboard, walked out and booked in the star

Another lovely visit to The Angel yesterday. Proper Pie for lunch was amazing and breakfast this morning was equally good. Thanks to all the staff who looked after my sister-in-law and myself. We will return !!!

We chose the Angel for a special celebration meal for 60 people. From the start Meg couldn't have been more helpful. We were given good choices for our special menu which on the day was amazing. The presentation and standard of the food was brilliant and it was hot!!! All of the staff are so friendly and will do all...

I have stayed many times at the Angel, and this time my partner accompanied me for what was supposed to be a trip down memory lane, as I come from Pershore. As such I booked a luxury room at £250 for two nights. The first room was the Malvern Room and it did not have a bath, but otherwise was...

This time I got the room with the ventilation fan outside the window. Literally non stop, you could feel the vibrations on the head board. Carpet had curious yoghurt like stains all over it and the cushions in the bed had sharp beads attached. Breakfast was great but I really didn't enjoy my stay, £75 is too expensive for the...

Seriously, this hotel was tale of two halves. Let's start with the good bits. The staff - all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food - not Michelin star food, but well prepared and presented and worthy of the price. The ambience - in the bar and lounge the atmosphere was good and a quite a happening place. The location...

Came here for dinner with a friend one night and had a good feed. I would echo the comments made about the staff, they were all very pleasant. No complaints about the food either - we started with some garlic bread, then I had a really delicious chicken ham and leek pie. Apparently the sausages and mash were good too....
