The apartments are boarded up and all closed only the golf course is open. The golf course is excellent. A links style golf course in very good condition. We are unsure why the resort is closed. Well worth a go.

While staying outside of Siena, I went to La Bagnaia to golf. It was wonderful, and there was almost nobody there. The golf course is designed beautifully in the Tuscan hillside. Lots of elevation changes, and a few blind shots. There are not many golf courses in Tuscany, but this was much better than I expected. Greens and fairways were... More

Looking for some peace and quiet? This is the place. You'll feel welcome here, but won't be bothered. The Tuscan style cottages are beautiful and offer great space. You can go running in the morning, when the air is still humid. Run to the wellness centre for example. We haven't tried it, but it really looks relaxing. The environment is... More

We went for two nights during our honeymoon at the end of June, which may be before their busy season so it was very quiet and very nice! Pool is amazing, we decided not to golf but the course looked really good! Staff is extremely helpful and sweet! I'd definitely recommend having a car, not very close to anything but... More

We first came here for a show and decided to return for a week. It's an Italian manor residence with huge parkland. Very stylish and well managed. Beautiful gardens. We had some relaxed meals on the pretty restaurant terrace (aubergine ravioli recommended). Walks around the property and along the forest paths and finished up with a spa treatment. Shopping in... Our travel agent in Sydney booked this for us as we wanted to experience the Tuscan countryside but with all the amenities. La Bagnaia is that perfect match. The grounds are exquisite and the service is impecable. The resort is set in a medieval village that has been transformed with integrity. We hired car and drove out from Florence as... More

We found La Bagnaia by fluke when we were looking for a Tuscan golf resort. This place was incredible. The staff was so particular and helpful. This is a 5 star resort with all of the luxuries. It's very quiet and serene and my husband and I felt like we were the only 2 people in the world there. Our... More

Played Golf on this great course for the three days we were there, the Spa was a welcome addition to the end of the day and the restaurants had perfect cuisine. The resort which I believe has a few 5 star elegant hotels to choose from within its grounds is really an entire village in the Tuscan countryside. The style... More

I was invited to stay at La Bagnaia Resort by BMW Golf International. The Italian amateur finals were being held there for the weekend 18/19 October 2014. The resort is lovely, the rooms large and comfortable and of course the staff extremely professional and friendly. We played golf on both days and thoroughly enjoyed the golf course. We didn't use...
