This is a place we have stayed two times already. First in 2014 and now in February 2017. Both time have been top notch stays and i'm sure we will be back. From the biological soup, to their own wine, to the beds, the linens, the food at their restaurant, the included breakfast and attention by Louisa, to the wine...

I have stayed and eaten at Corte D'Aibo on and off for ten years. And again three days just now. I am happy to report it's still first class. I always try to stay in room 6 or 7, because they have walk-outs (doors directly to the outside) so you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

The agriturismo is situated a little bit outside of Bologna in a beatiful place. The greeting at the reception was very fast like they other things to do. We were in the room 8 on the main floor. The style of the room is rustic. It fits very well with the place. All commodities needed were in the room. But,...

Location: without renting a car you can get there by local train and taxi Room: Clean , well organized. Staff: Very kind, friendly!! Food, wine: Fantastic! The portion of the dinner might be too large. I would pay the same price even the portion is a little smaller!!! The breakfast was also wonderful. Option: They collaborate a bike-wine tour with...

Abundant portions of organic, locally sourced and high quality food. Meat and vegetables are particularly tasty. Awesome and not expensive red wine without solfites. Get a bottle of red to take home (we took Meriggio), you won't regret it!

The place is fantastic. We stumbled upon it and so happy we did. A little off the beaten track so need a car to get there but so peaceful. Rooms a bit rustic, beds in need of an upgrade and bathrooms due for a makeover - but the overall charm of the whole place makes up for it. Food is...

Key points to note: Location, food, wine & staff are excellent. Accommodation in the newer block preferable to the old, especially if you a bath. Restaurant closes one night a week. Others nearby are very disappointing. Wifi is poor.

Enjoyed 2 nights here, with dinner both nights... so much food, including hand made pasta from organic grain grown on the farm, with so much value approx 40 for tasting menu for 2 people! Wine was also very good yet quite affordable! Breakfasts as well were excellent indoors or on the quiet patio. Had a delightful time on the very...

We came here as the fourth port of call on a food tour after visiting makers of Parmesano Reggiano, Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale and Prosciutto di Modena DOP with "Italian Days". (Search separately for a fantastic tour). We were served several delicious pasta dishes followed by guinea fowl, wonderful desserts and coffee all with plentiful matching wines from the vineyard. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The red coloured buildings stand out from the green of the vines, the main house dating back to the 16th century was originally a fortified tower and was later transformed into a convent as can be seen by the vaulted ceiling and the numerous cubby holes in the thick walls. The land called d’Aibo was already mentioned in ancient scriptures dating back to the year 500 ad. These tell of how the monks living in the monastry at Monteveglio bought several plots of land in the area called Aibo vineyard and therefore prove that winemaking in this area was already a reality such a long time ago ... more   less
