We had five nights here in February and it was so relaxing. We had a cottage overlooking the waterway down to where the hotel's boats pick you up and drop you off. This gave us a great view while we sat on our balcony late in the afternoons, having a drink and watching the converted barges drift pass. The cottages...

By far the best hotel I have ever been to based on rest and relaxation. This was supposed to be only a tee-up before we went to the beach at mararikulam, but we ended up liking the place so much that we cancelled the latter in favor of staying here. The hotel itself issue good that we eventually gave up...

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in February and it just wasn’t long enough. Our arrival was greeted by the flute player, a welcome drink and staff with smiling faces. During our stay they could not do enough for us to make it enjoyable. Everyone knew our names and made the time to speak with us. It made...

We spent 2 nights here and would've loved to stay longer. Our room was rather quaint ...the manic of having a shower outside was interesting. The furniture all over is old and interesting and the beds .... so so compfortable. We had very interesting cookery classes also and last but no least the food was brilliant in the restaurants. All...

Staff was great and accommodated all our requests. The rooms are Keralan heritage style wooden bungalows around a flat island surrounded by tranquil canals, rice paddies and a lake. The property is very nice (with nice pool and open air restaurant), though feels slightly dated. It was very humid during our stay, perhaps also because of the setting. Complimentary sunrise yoga was...

Stayed for 2 nights in a very interesting two story chalet building, looked to be very old, but extremely well equipped with good ac, wi-fi , very good but firm beds& perhaps the best feature was the external bathroom, sheer bliss, showering etc in a private garden type area complete with all the required facilities.food at the buffet was good...

Lovely property. Our room faced the canal so we could see boats going by and it was a bit more private than other rooms. Internet was basically unusable in the rooms. We had a plumbing issue which was not addressed when we reported it and it got much worse by the next day. This, I believe, represents very poor service...

We spent a couple of nights here at the end of our South India trip - fantastic, but very hot & cripplingly humid! But that's not the fault of the hotel, which is simply idyllic.... Sadly we're on our way home soon....

We went for a vacation and stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. Its a lifetime memorable property. Well maintained. Enjoyed a lot. Very good food. Its like a island where its covered by backwaters. Suggested for honeymoon couples & families. Food is very good and tasty (try sea foods). No negative feedback on any aspect. Well secured property....

The hotel is beautifully positioned by the lake with lovely grounds and gardens. Very nice swimming pool. Staff very friendly and the food in the restaurant was good. We stayed in one of the Heritage rooms which looked very attractive from the outside but had a number of drawbacks inside. Lack of cupboard space , creaky stairs and noise from...
