our flight got cancelled and needed a place to stay in Norman Wells. The staff picked us up at the airport and managed find us a room. for the two of us we paid $200. not cheap but we got a free use of a kitchen and living room area to prepare our own meals.

Stayed here in Sept. 2012 after getting delayed by a snowstorm in Norman Wells. It was about the only place in town that had rooms. Hotel consists of a main hotel along with seperate outbuildings that vary in size/amount of rooms. We stayed in one of the outbuildings which looked like a modular home. Flew into Norman Wells for a caribou hunt and landed in a snowstorm. All flights were grounded for 2 1/2 days. Mackenzie was about the only place in town to stay. Rate was $200 a night, PER PERSON.
