The best hotel in the Sahtu region. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and the food is delicious. The do specials for lunch and dinner and every day it is different. It is definitely worth a try if you are planning to stay in Norman Wels.

Norman Wells is remote and options limited. That said, this hotel's restaurant was surprisingly good, and was clearly a local's favorite. Wait staff are from the Dominican Republic and very friendly, and the food was quite good as well. Breakfasts were notable--especially the omelets. And the portions were large. A little pricey but that's expected given the remote location and...

I did not stay else where but this place was a pleasant surprise. Newer and clean, restaurant was not normal set up but service was good. Best to avoid the shrimp cocktail. Epect to pay lots. 2 rooms, 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners = $800.00

Stayed one night at the end of a 2-week canoe trip. Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Bathroom was in excellent condition with toiletries, fluffy towels, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Plenty of hot water. Bar & restaurant were welcoming and we enjoyed a hearty dinner (group of 10) and breakfast (smaller group). The staff permitted us to use...

I spent 3 weeks here along with my staff. While there I saw the other hotel accommodation in town and there is nothing even close to comparable. Even though very expensive ( as everything is in the area) it is great. Excellent mattresses, Eco friendly great toiletries, lots of cable channels, excellent housekeeping, and very spacious. I had a suite...

2 story hotel with good size clean rooms and a few suites (with kitchen, separate bedroom and living room with pull out couch). The regular rooms are a good size and bathrooms are average size with tub/shower. The wifi connection is good and there is satellite tv. In the suites, you have to move the satellite box from the living...

I stay here a couple of times every year and it is the best accommodations in Norman Wells. The rooms are a good size and clean. It is the newest accommodation and is substantially above anything else available. There is a restaurant and lounge on site and both quite good. This may not rate as 4 star if comparing to...

Stayed here for a week on business in February. This is definitely the best accommodation in Norman Wells. It's only a 3 star set-up but its warm and comfortable. In-house restaurant was also surprisingly good given how isolated Norman Wells is. It's expensive and so are the meals, but again, given the isolation this is to be expected. I wouldn't...

Stayed here in Sept. after a caribou hunt....considering where you're at and the prices up there,I felt it was well worth the price. I believed we pd. around $278 a night for the room( 2 people). 2 weeks earlier we landed to a snow storm and all flights were grounded. We wound up staying at the Mackenzie Valley Hotel..... big...
