The hotel was in an idyllic location with a vantage point, being a fort, unique for miles around. Once the smoke and swirl of the evening chorus had died down you are left in such tranquility that I was completely absorbed in the splendour of the hotel. The staff and manager where particularly helpful, very attentive and sincere. I was...

The best part about the entire resort is its location! The night and early morning view makes the visit worth. However beyond that, in terms of service and food its just very average. Actually below expectation! The rooms are well well maintained, pool is quite nice. And because its a heritage property its actually fun to be around, up and...

We visited in April-2016 third week for Flying fox zip-line tour. We passed through the fort while going to Flying fox space and coming back. Fort itself looked only ordinary and not at all noteworthy. Our interaction with local people also confirmed that fort sightseeing, lunch and stay are exorbitantly charged with no value for money- this only consolidated our...

fantastic weekend trip!!! makes one feel royal - staying in a fort. The hotel is designed in such a way that guests should not stay in the rooms - swimming pools, spa, dance shows, zip lining, camel rides etc. etc. No TVs in the room - interesting change. 1 tip - not wheel chair friendly. no provision of lifts/ramps

We went there as part of fort entry cum lunch weekend package which costs Rs. 1900 per person. We found it steep when we bought it. But the lunch was really worth it. Super menu, super taste, super variety and good ambience. Go for it once at least. Worth it. If you want to go for zipping (rates are 2300,...

Located almost 100kms from Gurgaon on the NH-8 from Delhi to Jaipur. They have two options to visit. Either book a room and stay untill u want or shell out a heavy amount to enjoy an average Lunch and so-so scenic view. I opted for a lunch (Weekdays- Rs. 1700/- per person and weekends- Rs. 1900/- per person). The spread...

I had been there for a day. Its beautifully constructed and renovated at a lot of places. Build on a hill it has steep and broad pathways at places. Its more like a steeped construction with distributed residential areas (for the earlier rani's) having their own gardens. I find the offering similar to a traditional big havelli. For people coming...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Many eulogies fill the visitors books at the 15th century flagship of the desert which lies only a hundred kilometres from the New Delhi airport. How, nearly three decades of passionate revitalisation of a rather formidable Chauhan ruin, have created a vibrant site for feasts, celebrations and conferences – is what merited Neemrana Fort-Palace a nomination for the Aga Khan Award. This is what the world comes to experience, and each guest carries a unique memory. Neemrana Fort-Palace. Built from 1464 CE onwards. Once a tragic ruin – now splendidly restored and revitalised to be better than before! Sprawling across 10 green hectares/25 acres, with India's first thrilling zipline. Palaces stepped over 14 levels with 72 rooms/suites, 3 conference halls, hanging gardens, private courts and balconies to romance. Two outdoor pools with a rejuvenating Spa and a health club. An intimate play area for young toddlers & the adjacent Neemrana eco-farm have been added recently so that you consume healthy organic food. Try our Maha Burj gold-platter thali for Rajasthani cuisine, or the Pan-Asian Kanak Mahal for wholesome light food to conserve your waistline. Besides these, a buffet with a variety of cuisines suits many palates. Wander the 2.4 hectares/6 acres of Palace with a self-guided multimedia tour. Ride a camel/camel cart or a vintage car. Walk out to the 16th century step well which descends 7 floors into the earth. Feel a new Indian high. To have you here is to share our life’s vision of how ruins can revitalise a whole region. Neemrana not only strive to revive and restore the heritage structure but it also generate jobs and economic reforms for locals by hiring local people. It is no wonder that Neemrana has been listed in the 100 things you must do on the planet before you leave it !
