My boyfriend and I wanted to take a trip to Elora and found Sem Wissler House. It was a little inconspicuous in terms of location, but was a 3 minute drive from the heart of Elora. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and we were greeted as soon as we came in.
The place was very clean, and Marilyn was very amicable in helping us find a restaurant to eat at.
In the morning she served us a delicious breakfast that was suited to mine and my boyfriend's dietary restrictions (which she had checked the night before)
Her jams were homemade and she even let us take a few jars home with us.
It was $100 a night for a queen size bed with bathroom, standing shower and tub and the price included tax as well as breakfast. I would definitely stay there again if spending the night in Elora.

Although the bedroom and adjoining bathroom looked clean, a musty smell pervades throughout the house and the bathroom also had a strong smell of vinegar. The entrance to the house and its surrounding area look very shabby and uninviting and the whole place is in dire need of a fresh coat of paint and a cleanup. Definitely, not the place to stay at for the discerning visitor.

After an extensive search of Bed and Breakfasts in the Elora area, I decided on this based on Marnii's review below, as well as, this is one of the few that had a full breakfast included.

The owner was very nice, and was easy to book. We communicated easily by email to let her know when we will be there and when we got there, everything was ready and set up for us.
The Blue Jay room was nice, small, with a large closet converted into a bathroom. It was extremely cozy, and really nice.

There's a backyard that has tons of greenery and we spent the evening with some cards and wine. Definately relaxing.

There's also a small park near by (take a right at George Street and left after your cross the bridge. There's a nice creek with some waterfowl and a playground. Great for kids.

In the morning, Marilyn prepared us a full breakfast with coffee/tea. Fruits and scones with homemade preserves. Then scrambled eggs with bacon, potatoes and fresh veggies.

The only thing I couldn't get used to was the musty smell in the house.
