Our one night stop here was a welcome retreat from the hectic program we had been maintaining up to this point. The peace and quiet, the sunshine and the friendly staff all made this a very comfortable stay. We also attended the stepwell dinner which was a very pleasant evening at a gorgeous location. My only complaint would be that...

We booked for Classic Heritage room. The amenities which are mentioned in there website like TV, safe lockers, welcome drink, king size bed etc . we were surprised to know that none of these amenities were there in our room. When we asked manager sitting in the front office and the GENERAL MANAGER of the hotel to give us all...

Rawla Narlai is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment we entered I could not stop marveling at the beautiful surroundings. The staff were great, especially the General Manager, who was delightful. I had a massage at the spa which was very nice, though quite expensive. We attended the step well dinner which...

Rawla Narlai is a small property located in the centre of the village of Narlai. The property itself is built around a series of beautiful courtyards with gardens, a pool and lots of attention to detail. It is one of the best hotels I have been to in India - the General Manager Garima and her staff look after every...

This was a delight from start to finish. It is a romantic, enchanting and beautiful hunting lodge in a wonderful village. The manager is excellent and the staff are lovely. The buildings are beautiful. I recommend staying in the older rooms rather than the more modern building. The more modern building has superb rooms and a wonderful roof terrace but...

This is an unpretentious hotel, an old hunting lodge situated at the end of a rural village. Arranged around a series of gathering spaces, the rooms are individual, quirky and interesting. This definitely is not a corporate hotel and is all the better for that. The gardens are beautifully tended, lush and green and there are seating areas dotted around...

Stopped for 1 night to break up the Jodhpur - Udaipur drive and were enchanted by the hotel and the town. Our hostess ( sorry name forgotten ) was a charming professional and all staff were top quality. Lovely walk to local temples and a great restaurant! Next time 3 nights for sure

The Rawla Narlai hotel is a great pit-stop if you're travelling between Udaipur and Jodhpur and want to break your journey for a day or two for a change of pace. Walking past its gates in the tiny village of Narlai, you'd barely know it was there, but once you're inside it's literally like finding an oasis in the desert....

Hotel overall was average. Service in the restaurant was good. Food was also average in variety, and expensive. Rooms would appeal to a particular taste. We did not enjoy it. We found the rooms not to be as shown on the website.

The Stepwell Dinner : Guests are taken on a magical journey from the Rawla through the village streets into the jungle before arriving at the 1100 year old “step well”. The magical setting is brought to life by dimly lit oil lamps that illuminate the setting through flickering light. The very private dinner is laid out in a traditional manner, it promises to remain unmatched experience to anything you will ever experience for a long time.
