I stayed two nights at this place. It was OK. The room was fine, spacious, clean, etc., nice terrace as well. Staff friendly, food in their restaurant good (although I found it to be a bit western orientated). The only negative I have to mention is the bathroom. Being from Africa, I don’t mind cold water only, but I really...

The Ecolodge is a really nice lodge in Bukit Lawang, and it acts as a really good starting point to explore the National Park. Unfortunately for us, we did not pass too much time there because of a tight schedule, but we appreciated the nice room with the mosquito net. Just pay attention that the bathroom is open on the...

We probably had the cheapest room, but still quite nice, although we had to single beds and it wasn't possible to move them together because of the mosquito nets. The surroundings are amazing and it's something new to be waken up by monkeys jumping on the roof. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't impressive, but fine. We dined...

We stayed in the EcoLodge for one night after coming back from a Jungle Trek and really enjoyed it. The restaurant "building" ( it's a very open construction, you feel like being outdoors) is completely made from bamboo, very beautiful, natural but trendy architecture. The first floor is a big space with comfy bean bags to hang out and see...

The best of both worlds - your accommodation is semi detached lodges on the edge of the jungle, and the trek into the jungle was brilliant. The food and drink in the one restaurant is of good quality, and the staff are cheery and pleasant. The upstairs of the restaurant is a chill out area - large comfy beanbags -...

Rooms are ok. Dont expect things like a bed lightning andmultiple power sockets. Rooms are noisy wich is nice with jungle sounds but not with karaoke or loud staff during the night. The restaurant looks good, but walk on to the next one to eat for half the price and better taste.

We stayed in a Orang Utan room towards the end of ramadan. Those rooms are quite old and I wonder how you can build bungalown in the middle of tropical jungle without the possibility of opening the window ? With no air whatsoever coming across it ? The result was logically a heat in our room and the fans would...

I called the ecolodge because me and my boyfriend really wanted to stay here. I called, got a reservation for a room. The day afyer i had 3 missed calls in 8 minutes. I tried to call them back for 5 times over the day. The 6th time they picked up the phone and told me that they needed a...

We loved our stay at Ecolodge, so serene and relaxing from the minute we arrived. The lodge backs onto the jungle, and still has everything you'll need for your stay. We stayed in the Orangutan rooms, they were large and had a fantastic outdoor bathroom that made the experience even more enjoyable. The food at the resteraunt is delicious and...

The hotel lies across the river, so use a backpack in stead of a suitcase. The houses are very nice with a big terrace and a nice view at the well kept garden. The bed has a klamboe and there is a fan (no airco). The shower is partly outside with cold water, but that is nicely refreshing in the...

Dear Annejoosen.. Thank you for your visit and stay in our lodge, yess.. we not allowed to set up airco in rooms because it's will spend a lot of energy.
