Great food for the Saturday night buffet (must book in advance). Tender Ribs,Juicy Sirloin, fried chicken and trimmings. The bar and extras works on an honesty system which is nice and gives faith in trusting people Accomodation basic (rooms, tented or self catering) with clean and fresh bedding. A welcome treat from the grime and dust if you are and...

First thing to say, ben aware of the gravel roads leading there. Do it with a 4x4 I'd say. But besides that it's really great to stay here. Gerrit knows everything about the region. He will help you out with great maps and stuff. If I get the opportunity I will definitely come back.

Cederberg Oasis isn't a posh place. If you are a high income individual you are welcome to stop and share a beer with the hoi polloy. Adventure motorcyclists make frequent pilgramages to the well known bar. Once the own had enough of his guests he will usually leave the bar unattended and rely on the party goers to help themselves...

I was here with two friends on a motorbike trip. We stayed in the permanent tents which were really good including a comfy bed with nice bedding. If you're looking for a bit more peace and privacy see if you can get one of the ones further away from the restaurant/bar area. Gerrit and Chantal are super guests. Gerrit will...

We camped there while on a cycle tour through Africa, we found this lovely camp site and clean ablutions in a fairly remote and beautiful part of the Cederberg. Lovely pub which operates on an "honesty system", really good value (camping and meals), and lovely setting with a pool. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing us with a...

This is one "oasis place" for travelers in the middle of Cederberg mountains ..... we was received for Gerrit, the owner, who show us his infrastructure and facilities. It's a very nice placer for rest, camping, good food and good location to all travelers walking for the Cederberg Montains.

Great hospitality by Gerrit and Chantal. Fantastic scenic setting nestled at the foothills of the Cederberg and good value for money. The food is rustic and wholesome, the surrounding tents and orange trees are refreshing.

We did a bike trip. 19 of us. After travelling some hours on dirt roads, full of dust, tired, thirst, and hungry, we stumbled on to this Oasis. It was very welcome. The food was good and well-priced. However, book in advance for food. Everything is fresh made, and if you just arrived, you have two options for lunch -...

We loved our 2 nights camping at the Cederberg Oasis. The drive in and out passes through spectacular and varied scenery, and the campsite itself is in a beautiful and quiet location. The camp is in a valley, on a grassy site dotted with trees, a few A frame rooms and a swimming pool. The ablutions are pretty simple and...
