We stayed for 3 night at Ukholo Lodge. Benjamin and his relatives took excellent care of us. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. There is free wifi. The meals served for breakfast and dinner (we were hiking in the Cederberg mountains at lunch time) were excellent. It's a family business and everyone was very sweet to us and always... More

Man o man did me and my wife enjoyed ourself on our 21st Wedding Anniversary. Had such a fantastic weekend in the quiet relaxing atmosphere for first time visitors. We felt so safe when we took a walk in the farm, because the two dogs Milo and Coffee led the way for us. Awesome!! Will definitely recommend Ukholo Lodge to... More

Stayed one night at Ukholo and was so pleasantly surprised. It is perched high above the highway between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam but you are not aware of the traffic. No noise and all you can see are orang groves and the river. Benjamin very welcoming. Rooms adequate and each one decorated in a quirky style unique to Ukholo. Order dinner... More

In the flower season your usual overnight accommodation is not always available at short notice. That is how we landed up at Ukholo Lodge about 20km north of Citrusdal on the N7. What a lovely surprise! Benjamin is the ultimate warm, caring, soft spoken, yet professional host. We arrived armed with supermarket food since we did not feel like driving... More

...Because that is what this place is. We decided to dash off for a leisurely weekend retreat. Finding the lodge was not easy. All directional signage is hand painted (Freehand!). I jokingly told my husband, "Perhaps they used all their funds for the decor". We both laughed. But the joke was on us. Not only were we lead down a... More

Just off the N7 main road (between Clan William & Citrusdal), Ukholo (meaning Faith) is located within the citrus plantations. This Amazing Lodge (with its beautiful garden and calming atmosphere ) is so peaceful and clean. The rooms were beautifully furnished-- each with a different theme. The cottage looks out over the mountains and although close to the N7… I... More

Did a last minute booking and what a pleasant surprise! Family of 4 with kids and we all felt so at home and what an amazing setting! Rustic farmy feel with clean and tastefully decorated rooms. The food was absolutely amazing. We are definitely going there again.

Amazing Lodge with a beautiful garden, easy to find (near the N7) and very clean! The food was really good and they welcomed us so nicely even tho we arrived late! Hot shower and really comfy bed, in a huge bedroom. Really nice people with whom we shared the fireplace and a football match.

My girlfriend and I decided on a long weekend away in the Cederberg area. We decided on Ukholo Lodge as it was the most reasonably priced and located midway between Citrusdal and Clanwilliam. We arrived here not expecting more than your usual B & B. WOW!!! What a fantastic place. The rooms were beautifully decked out -- each with different... More
