Such a lovely house and surroundings, clean and tidy, yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend Vestergaard at any time for a family vacation, a work team-building weekend or anything in between.

This is a lovely and peaceful place to stay. The building is part of an old farm in a quiet village. There is lots of open space around the buildings, with orchards and vegetable patches. The family who own the place and very welcoming and friendly. They speak excellent English and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms are good sizes, with beds plus extra chairs. There are two bathrooms and a kitchen area and extra living space with tables and chairs, so it has a great home away from home feel to it.

We stayed at Vestergård for 14 days in August-17. It is a beautiful little farm at the end of a village. There are two houses on the property, one for the family that runs the place and one where the rooms they rent out are. The rooms are big and the house has two bathrooms, a kitchen and a huge dining room. The garden around the house is also huge, and they grow their own vegetables, plums and apples. If you are there in season you get free access to those. It is just a fantastic feeling going out and picking your own potatoes for dinner. The family running it are the sweetest people and will help you with anything you need. We used Vestergaard as a base and spent the days exploring the North of Denmark. Everything you need is pretty much within driving distance. We went to the Nordsøen Oceanarium in Hirtshals, had a day trip to Aalborg where we among other things went to the zoo, we went to see a viking marked, went to playland, we went for a swim at Løkken and we went to Fårup Sommerland. We will definitely go back when we get a chance!
