This is a lovely cosy hostel with a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was homemade bread and jams made by the lovely women that run the place, and there was plenty of it! Really good coffee too! The downside is that the location is a outside the town, takes about 40 minutes to walk but that seems to be the same for all the hostels.

Enjoyed my stay here. Its a little farther out and buses into city come once an hr and are not on a schedule. Staff is great, they also have a chef. Very poor wifi, bit what would you expect in this town? Cpol spot! Recommend taking taxi on first visit.

This collective project is run by people who are both socially and environmentally minded. They have a garden, fruit trees and a labyrinth in the backyard. They make their own jams, beer, and bread. The warm feeling is enhanced by the adobe fireplace in the common area and friendly dogs. Things are very clean and it is awesome to have a full kitchen, space to store food.

From the hostel you can walk to a beautiful waterfall. You go through a cool cemetery to get to the path that then leads to the waterfall and botanical garden. I did walk downtown-once. It is best to take a bus, hitch a ride, or borrow a bike.

El Pueblito is in the middle of nowhere - you even get raised eyebrows when you ask at tourist information where to get the bus, which, incidentally only comes once an hour. The last bus back from town is at 8.45pm so forget having dinner out in town. You're trapped. They say it's only a 15min ride from town on the bus. What they don't say is that it's on a circular route so it takes 45 minutes to get back into town from the hostel. There is no escape!
The owners/friends of owners are all hippies so we were hoping for a warm relaxed atmosphere but when we finally arrived down the dirt path we were met with silence and questioning looks. They couldn't have been much less friendly - it was like we'd invaded but it's meant to be a hostel! We stayed one night out of necessity and then begged to stay at La Pehuenia Hospedaje in town, run by the friendliest woman in all Argentina who would have let us stay on her sofa for free if there hadn't been enough beds.
Get out while you can! Oh, and breakfast is NOT included; it's 15 pesos extra.

We stayed here at the recommendation of the staff at Casona Odile after it filled up. It was amazing, cheaper than casona Odile, and less crowded, thus more peaceful. The breakfast was tasty and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Also, we stayed in the weird room-sized cabin outdoors with nothing but a bed in it, and actually loved it since we knew what we were getting ourselves into. We found a fair amount of wasps and spiders inside, but besides that it was totally cozy and nice.

What a find !! This is not a hotel, so don''t expect all the posh-person trimmings. It is a hostel and a brilliant one at that. Located on the outskirts of town, it is a little way out, but taxis are cheap here and sticking your thumb out to hitch a lift will often pay off. It's in a very picturesque location and totally absorbing. It is a friendly, clean home-from-home, with welcoming, helpful staff. Breakfasts are home-made bread and jams - as much as you want - continental-style and delicious. The facilities are atmospheric and will make you want to come back. Stayed here in April 2016 and loved it. Highly recommended and helped to make our stay in El Bolson and memorable one.

We booked a cabin but were actually given a shed with a double bed squeezed in. It was freezing & draughty.

The next night we were given a proper cabin but it was still extremely cold at night.

The breakfast is very basic (just bread & jam) but the showers are good & the kitchen is fairly well stocked

From the moment we walked in, we felt at home at El Pueblito. The three ladies that run it are amazing. It has a great kitchen if you want to cook or they serve all sorts of delicious food if you don't. Even though it's not in the city center, it's worth the 50 peso taxi ride out there. It's beautiful, well organized, and has a lovely and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend staying here!

Run by several super cool and nice women, the hostel is a very cute wooden house with a large courtyard/garden area with hammocks, there are loving puppies and kittens hanging out there as well. The rooms and bathrooms are simple but clean. They offer food that looks very yummy but I didnt have the chance to taste. The craft beer is delicious. Highly recommended! I did not want to leave.

Well we decided to get off the bus in El Bolson because i had had such fond memories of this place in the past. Several years ago the now current owners of Hostel La Casa del Viajero ran this place. They were really great people who helped shaped my view of El Bolson. The now current owners were kind and the fresh baked bread and jams were delicious. Just keep in mind it is a little ways outside of town.
Oh and never eat at La Marca in town the worst steak ever. The only reason i signed up for trip advisor was to write that.
