I almost don't want to write a review for this amazing place because it is quite a secret for non- Argentinian visitors in El Bolson! We ended up staying two weeks!

About a 15 minute walk from town up a quiet hill, Cerro Amigo Cabanas are owned by a lovely, helpful family who have been here for over 20 years (thanks Antonio, Marilu and Paz!). There are four cabanas, all with beautiful wood finishes and their own personalities, set among tranquil gardens in this quiet place where you can only hear birds chirping, all with amazing views of the snow capped mountains. Each cabana (we stayed in two) is equipped with two bedrooms with comfortable box spring beds, a fully equipped kitchen with four top burner and oven plus all the utensils you need, heating and cooling throughout, hot water, cable tv and great wifi. Some cabanas have their own private decks too!

To top this all off, the prices are very reasonable (especially if there are three or four of you) compared...

We found this cabanas through the tourism office, they were one of the cheapest in Bolson. We JUST LOVED IT!! We were supposed to stay 2 nights end up staying one week! Room upstairs have windows all over, with a beautiful view over the mountains. Everything was with rustic but modern and very well taste decorated. Is located a bit up the hill but is well worth tIhe walking!!! Is the perfect place for couples and families to just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature around. More

“Cabana 2 is a little more expensive but has a great deck! Cabana 4 is usually not rented out but ask about it.. very quiet and great upstairs bedroom with spectacular views.”
