We stayed with these people in Vinales Cuba and had a wonderful visit. The room is located within a large family complex. The people were warm and very helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and very ample. There is a nice garden area to hang out and it’s close to the amenities of beautiful Vinales

3 nights in this hostel. We got the tip from the GetSouth guide and it sounded good plus we didn't really find our way to begin with in this little town and our cellphones were dead.

It's a good place to sleep but don't think you'll be getting a lot for your money, just the necessary. If you're gonna stay for some days pay it all on Saturdays (576 pesos for a dubble room), apparently is the cheapest day to pay (they have a sign just in front of the desk with the prices depending of which day it is, so you'll know).

You can get a breakfast for 18 Argentinian pesos, but if you're looking for something more than sugared flakes, white bread and marmalade then you can buy your own things and cook your own breakfast/lunch/dinner in the kitchen.

As I said, just a place to sleep.

Save your money for another place unless you dont mind filthybathroom (6m2 including the toilet, the sink and a supposed to be shower), sleeping in the attic in a sleeping bag, no breakfast in the morning (unless you pay an extra). It cost me 130 pesos all in all.
It was the worst hostel ive ever stayed at.

Because we arrived on a night bus from El Calafate, we booked ahead. Upon arrival the promised choice between private double rooms was no longer possible. Only available room was way overpriced, very small, and with a bed that was dirty (blood stains) and on which the sheets didn't fit. The shower didn't work. When we told the owner that we would check out earlier than planned, he kept 50% of the extra night we had reserved, while we cancelled 1.5 days in advance.

All in all: a very bad experience in an otherwise great town!

It is a small hostel with 3 small social rooms and a garden the reception girls are really nice. The ohwner can be annoying, but he is only working on saterday and monday. The kitchen is small and close at 11pm. There are everywhere rules writen on walls tables etc. And you are not allowed to bring alcohol from outside. But they sell.

Friendly stuff, spacious rooms, good location. Good wi-fi, garden with tables. They've now installed a bar where you can buy beer. They've got 3 'golden' rules, which are ok. It's more that they call them rules than the rules themselves which make you feel a bit uncomfortable. Everything is clean, well run. While I stayed there, two chicos got robbed in the plaza next to the hostel. However, seems to be a unfortunate coincidence and not normality. After my check-out they let me stay there for some time using the wi-fi before I left for the bus. (Matías actually gave me a lift!)

The hostel is central located, the kitchen is clean but the atmosphere is ridiculous ..
You are not allowed to be free.. rules in every corner ,sins everywhere telling you that You are not allowed:
To bring any alcohol from the out side ( apparently for bad behavior from the Argentinian people ? This what they said !)
But in reality is because you are forced to buy only inside the beer or the cheap wine ( as a quality ) with the 50% and more of ripoff ..
No smoking even in the garden
At 23:00 they close the kitchen and the common area so if you arrive late......:((
No breakfast included ( apparently as well why they are under restoration .. so they don’t provide you bread or marmalade for this reason !!) but after you run to the market to buy the food you find the owner having breakfast at the common table!!?? With bread ,marmalade Ecc..
They have a dog that is allowed to get in the kitchen and continually ask you for food..
I’m been traveling Argentina all over.. this is the worst hostel I’ve been in this beautiful trip ...sad but truth ...
P.s. if you don’t like all this rules, go to an other hostel!!! (If I only new it before!)

We were really lucky to find this hostel. We arrived in El Bolson with no fixed plans and after deciding on a 4 day trek we checked with the hostel if we could make a booking for the night we would return, it was absolutely no problem and they let us leave our heavier bags all week, securely locked away, at the hostel for no extra charge. The kitchen and common areas were great spaces and all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Hot showers and good wifi a major plus after 4 days in the wilderness!
