Just spent a fabulous week in Biyadhoo, and I really can't wait to go back. I agree with most of the comments on here, so I'm just going to go over a few things that might be of use, or that might help you decide to go. We flew with BA through Hayes and Jarvis, and can't fault the service... More

Firstly.... Thank you to all the reports placed on tripadvisor. Secondly..... If you take dollars, try and take newer, crisp looking bills. Thirdly...... Do your research on trip advisor then book the holiday. 1) When I was looking to book this holiday I read many a report on tripadvisor, some good, some not so. I also re-read the advert (Marks... This was my second visit to the Island and I enjoyed it even more than the first time. It was nice to see the same friendly staff at the restaurant, bar and reception and even better to be remembered by them all! I have not visited any other Islands in the Maldives but I'm lead to believe that although many... More

Okay, I'm sure there is little to be said that hasn't been said already but I'll have a stab at it: Monarch flight....don't be put off, it's fine - as long as you do your best to book the extra legroom seats. Great trip on the boat over and saw loads of dolphins, which meant we didn't bother with the... More

I can't think of anything different to say than what has been written before . It really is as good as everyone has said if not better . We did our homework on here and anticipated the rooms ,but we were surprised by the cleanliness of everywhere .The rooms where as mentioned tired and the beds hard but call me... More

I'll cut straight to the chase...... The bad: the rooms and bathrooms are tired; a few areas of the island (where tourists DON'T go) are a bit rough and ready. The good: the staff are excellent and seem happy....not always the case on some islands (lovely to see Maldivian women - lovely old lady who sweeps the paths - give... More

My husband and I had a fantastic time on biyadhoo and I would definitely recommend this Island. We stayed for only 6 days (should have been 7 but volcanic ash cut short our holiday) Here is my opinion: Flight; Went with thomson, good airline, pre booked 2 window seats and I thought the space was quite good. Meals fine. Island;... More

We have just come back from a 6 day holiday in this beautiful resort. Only 97 rooms which keeps the number of people to a minimum. You can sit on the beach and not see anyone for hours. Lots of coconut and palm trees for shade and many hammocks swinging between them. The sea really is that turquoise colour and... More

Going to Biyadoo? Leave your heels at home girls – you won’t need them to pad softly thro’ Paradise! Instead take your own fins and snorkel or hire them there to watch the marvellous underwater movies – every moment a different show, but if you spend enough time in one place, you may get to recognise the fish who live...
