We booked our holiday through British Airways. The resort is fine for those on a budget - however we did not pay budget prices for the holiday we had! I have been through my correspondence and nowhere details the limitations of the 'all inclusive' package. I know when sold the package over the telephone I was not told; - drinks...

Beaches, reef and water is superb - all Maldives standard. Beach bungalow also just fine, although a bit used. Change of some of the plumming in the bathroom would do miracles.. Staff - women are needed...!! Probably some stupid muslim thing, but except for the (thai?) girls in the wellness/spa, only men are servicing everything, be it in the restaurants,...

As their tagline says, "Where the sands of time stand still..." I fully agree with their tagline as time really stands still on Fihalhohi Island. Visited the island for a day trip and I thought it was the most boring place ever! Maybe it's cause I'm from the city and Fihalhohi is way too slow for me but to me...

We stayed 2 nights at Fihalhohi resort. The bungalows are quite old fashioned, but well maintained. The beaches are really nice and parts of the corals are nice. Lots of beautiful fishes on the reef. Good restaurant and bar. Nice deck at the pier for relaxing in the evenings. Prices are acceptable. We would like to come back!

I went to Fihalhohi for a week with my boyfriend. The man waiting for us at the airport never smiles, as most of the staff.. but, anyway, we were brought to our room and the reception was very kind. They bring the luggage directly to your room so you don't have to bring it through the sand. Everyone has its...

buffet food offering and choices was absolutely amazing, rarely was any item repeated!! great location- had a snorkeling reef right next to our hut accessible directly from the beach. Spa, Watersports and Souvenir shop are part of the resort. Even had a badminton court you could play at night also.

I stayed at this hotel over New Years eve. The hotel charged me a $125 supplemental fee for New Year eve food but ran out of lobster before I could get one. New Years eve food was COLDISH !! Duck and lamb were greasy and lukewarm at best. Internet was really slow!!!!!!!! I got a deluxe room which was of...

We've stayed at the Fihalholi Island resorts for two nights and three days. This is what anyone would think of the Maldives. It was Paradise. The standard bungalow were we've slept were nice and spacious. A little bit dated furniture, but that didn't bother us. The only thing we did not like was that we had to pay for everything,...

Pros: I had booked only a day trip to this island for US$100 (buffet lunch included). It was absolutely amazing experience. The water is so clean and the beach is totally stunning. I would recommend this island to anyone who wants to experience beauty of Maldives. Spend at least a few days here! Cons: A bit expensive from Asian standards....
