Zama City Campground is great! If you're in the area you definitely have to check it out - or make a trip to visit!

The Cabins come with everything you need! Greatly equipped with everything from fishing rods for the pond to hot dog roasting sticks for the fire to dishes/dish soap! The cabin also came with a small heater for those cooler nights.

Just bring your bedding and you're all set. Comfy bed, hot and long showers, with a fishing pond on site as well as a swimming pond with paddle boats.

The staff were amazing. They were helpful and truly wanted to make my stay in the area as enjoyable as possible.

This place has quickly reached the top of my list for awesome campgrounds/accommodations.

We just love this campground!!! Everything you need plus more. All hook ups and extra bonus of internet. If I had kids many things for them to do. Quad trails and where can you drive your quad/RZR on the roads in town searching for a glimpse of Billie, Zama mascot!!! Gravel road from highway but well maintained and wide. Take your time and should have no issues as you could run into a herd of bison which is a bonus to take pictures. For sure going back and I hope you make the trip. It's truly worth it and you cannot get a better daily rate for full service anywhere!!!

I stayed in one of the glamping cabins for 3 weeks while evacuated from my home due to wildfires. The whole campground and park facility is lovely and well-maintained, used by locals and visitors alike. The glamping cabin was very comfortable and well-equipped, with a BBQ and bistro set on the deck, a fire pit (free firewood), water tap, and picnic table outside, and great set-up inside. The bed was comfortable, the heater and fan were both used at times, the fridge was a great size, and the microwave, kettle, and Keurig coffee maker, plus full set of camping kitchenware provided lots of options for meal prep.
The campground is a great place for families with young kids. All of the lots provide a good degree of privacy, with some being more heavily treed and secluded. All in all, it was a great place to stay.

Cannot recommend this place and the people there enough.

My hometown was recently evacuated for 3 weeks and by chance, we ended up in Zama City at the beautiful little campground they have there. Words cannot begin to describe the level of service and level of care we received during our time there. It was truly heartwarming, and we will never, ever forget it.

It is a fully serviced campground with so many included amenities for such a low price. Water, firewood, ice, power, wi-fi, you name it! On site, there is a catch-and-release fishpond, a swimming pond with floaties and a paddle boat, a shelter stocked with games, disc golf, and Loonie showers (which are AMAZING, nice and hot!). Off site, which is minutes down the road, Zama has an absolutely gorgeous library with books, games, DVDs, and a massage chair and a rec hall for children and adults alike.

Along with all of the things to do in Zama, you will find some of the most kind, caring, passionate, hardworking and hilarious people. The locals accepted us in as their own and shared some Zama history, some laughs, and some cold ones. They made arrangements so we could do our laundry, they put us up in one of their beautiful cabins whenever it was available to give us a break from our tiny tent trailer living, they would have given us the shirt off of their backs if we had needed it. Not only did they attend to our needs, but they made sure our wants were covered too. During my 3-week stay at Zama Campground we had group BBQs, dinners, dart nights, drum dances, art days, bingo nights, parties with a local band. The sense of community there between us all was something that could never be put into words, and something that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Shawn & Lisa... Thank you for everything you all did for my family and friends (old and new) during our stay. For all of the organization, the care, and the little extras (like the Christmas lights, Shawn!) that you went above and beyond for us. It has been only nearly a week since we have left, and I already can't wait to return to Zama someday in the future.

If anybody is ever looking for a small town to visit with everything you could ever possibly need (except grocery and liquor stores, ahem, come stocked!) Zama City Campground should be on the top of your list. You will never find another place like it.
