Charming old house and surroundings in the centre of this historic village. Spacious beamed en-suite twin room with comfy beds and beautifully furnished. Everything immaculate but relaxed. Excellent breakfasts. Good secure parking on premises, or short taxi-ride to mainline station. There is a good choice of nearby cafes and pubs on Lindfield's high street. Carol and Roy were the perfect...

Well, it was lovely to have you both stay. I am sorry your visit was for a sad occasion and an end of an era for you but we certainly enjoyed your company and chats and getting to know you both. Hope your forgotten perfume arrived safely. Nothing worse than buying expensive perfume and losing it before you have had...

Only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed for more. We had a very warm welcome and felt like we were visiting close friends. The room was warm and cosy. As it was a very cold day I couldn't wait to jump into bed and when I did I wasn't disappointed. After a good nights sleep we had...

Normally stay with friends in Lindfield but due to family wedding their home was full. Pilstyes was a delightful find. Friendly and homely hosts and clean and comfy rooms. Carol cooked breakfast in front of us with relaxed and friendly chat- even offered to make a sandwich with the bacon left over for our journey home! Good spaces to park...

Like many other reviewers, we were made extremely welcome from the moment that we arrived. Roy and Carol do everything to make you feel at home and readily make suggestions of where to eat and where to go in the area. Roy even drove us to the wedding reception that we attended in Haywards Heath. Nothing seems too much trouble...

I said to Roy after you left...we had so much in common and the week end was really enjoyable.
