Detailed Reviews
It is like entering a fairytale. The most picturesque, romantic place. The hosts, Mme & M. Toullec are dedicated to make your stay as pleasant as possible- and they indeed succeeded. A delicious breakfast served and can be enjoyed outside while listening to birds singing in the sky. This is paradise on earth.

Very nicely located B&B, very quiet, very rural. The room was a gem of coziness. The colorful evening lighting made it like staying in a fairy-tale forest. Plus, it felt more like a gite than a room. You could use the sitting room and the kitchen downstairs.
Breakfast was not only a feast for gourmets, it was also a feast for the eyes. A beautifully decorated table, served with a panoply of dishes. We can rightly say that this was the best breakfast we have ever had in a B&B, and served with the greatest warm and genuine cordiality we have ever experienced.
I would have to think long and hard to come to the conclusion that there is absolutely nothing that could possibly disappoint. Or maybe the fact that the B&B is occupied when you want to book. Don't look elsewhere, just find a new date for your stay. You don't easily find a place like this.

Simply the Best. There is nothing I can fault with the propery. Annemarie and Gerard were very attentive to our needs and offered us advise were to visit. Best breakfast ever in a B&B, and varied everyday with home made treats. I hope we can visit again in the future.

Visited for 3 nights in July on our way back from a week near Uzes and found a gem! Anne-Marie and Gerard have created a very tranquil and special place and the breakfast - c'est magnifique!!!
All of the rooms are in converted outbuildings that were part of a mill - hence the name. The river that powered the mill runs through the grounds and provides a soothing background soundtrack. Bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable with the personal touch of Anne-Marie and Gerard much in evidence. Breakfast is an absolute treat with a wide range of bread, pastries, fruits, yogurts, waffles, pancakes and different daily hot items that Anne-Marie and Gerard make fresh each day. I think we spent a couple of hours each morning trying to do justice to all of it!
Location is a bit off the main roads but near enough to towns and the Normandy beaches to make it a base for exploring. We would (and no doubt will) stay again in an instant.

+1
My husband, 15 year old son and I stayed at this lovely Bed and Breakfast for 2 nights. I could have stayed much longer. The Toullec Family are a dream!
We had 2 rooms in the mill house. One for my husband and I and one for my son, both had bathrooms en suite. I can not describe how wonderful the rooms were and they were made only better by the tranquil sound of the babbling brook directly outside our windows. It was beyond anything I could have imagined. The beds were soothingly comfortable and even with a heat wave our rooms were very cool. Each room was restored to perfection. The atmosphere of each room was so inviting and relaxing. My 15 year old son loved his room and slept well.
The breakfast deserves a paragraph itself. Fresh housemade yogurt, little cupcakes of bacon wrapped eggs-2 die for, Home made waffles, fresh fruit salad, medley of croissants, a gorgeous apple cake-house made of course, coffee, a large selection of teas, juice.... We were full for hours. They served this on the ground floor or we could have dined outside alongside the creek. It was all so relaxing.
While we were there we met the owner’s daughters and their children. They spoke perfect English and were so much fun to talk to.
Anne Marie and Gerard have 2 adorable fur babies, lollipop and tequila. It was nice each evening to be greeted by these 2. Very mannerly and were great around children as I witness them with the grandchildren.
All in all you should book a trip to France just to experience this exceptional B n B.
