There is not much accommodation in this area, so although this hotel was not our first choice, it at least had accommodation available. Our family was able to stay in two adjoining rooms which was nice. The hotel has the most beautiful view. Breakfast was...More
As has been said this hotel is all about the view! Driving to the hotel we were wondering how spectacular it would be, given everywhere in Norway is breathtaking. But this is definitely worth it. The hotel itself isn’t amazing but if you are lucky...More
This is a truly spectacular location. It's amazing if the weather is good enough to sit outside. The common areas of the hotel are very comfortable and have some very interesting antiques - some that you sit on. View from our room was wonderful, but...More
A stay at this rather quaint hotel was a highlight of our Coach Tour. Its locality is unbelievable, right in the centre of the high mountains of the fjords. Such wonderful views of the mountains and surrounds from the hotel and outside. Views at 6.30am...More

Some of the local buses will make a regular stop at the hotel door. Send an email to the hotel - they might be able to help you and tell you the time of the day - yet even better: check the skyss.no website for the bus schedule or nor-way.no. If the bus does not stop at the hotel door at the desired time of the day, you can get off at StalheimKryss on E16 (your bus driver will know the stop) and the hotel staff will pick you up with your luggage (just email them ahead of time). If you have minimal luggage, you can make the walk to the hotel from Stalheimkryss in about 20 minutes on a paved road (beautiful scenery).
