This is a welcoming motel in a very nice setting. The owners (a family) are very friendly and sweet. They did all they could to accommodate any requests. We felt safe and peaceful here. The rooms are very compact. Rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. It is an older model motel, but there is no mold smell or mold growth seen anywhere. We would happily stay there again.

This Motel located in Grand Barachois is under new management since 2011 and underwent major renovations. The motel is well located if you travel to PEI or Magdalen Island as well as if your visiting the New Brunswick Acadian Peninsula. We enjoyed the grounds (near the water, nice picnic areas, chairs, good site for bird watching, etc). The rooms are very clean, confortable and quiet. The rates are also very reasonable.

The restaurant is also very good, clean and affordable. Nice view on the water and marshes. There is a large terrace were you can take your meal or take a drink from the nice little bar. The owners and staff are pleasant, efficient and generous of their time. Good food, a lot of choice on the menu. We had one dinner and 2 breakfasts there and we were pleased with the quality and freshness of the food.
we stayed there two nights on our way to Magdalen Island and on our way back. We would definitively go back and we do not hesitate to recommend this place

I absolutely loved my stay at the Waterfront. The owners Paul and Wendy were very friendly and hospitable. They always greeted me by my name which added an extra special personal touch. The cabin was cozy and very clean. They are in a great location and I can't wait to spend more time with them next summer. I highly recommend them if you are looking to stay and relax in the Shediac or Grand Barachois region.

The staff were beyond EXCELLENT...very friendly, very accommodating.
We stayed in one of the two bedroom cottage units...well laid out, very comfortable, cute and cozy.
The location of the Waterfront Hotel was great for all our needs/ centrally located between Shediac and Cap Pele.
GORGEOUS property: I really enjoyed being able to sit out on the decks and take in the gorgeous water views.

Cons: While the room had plenty of towels, cooking utensils/dishes and bedding; there was only 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the cottage and a partial roll of paper towel. I am sure the staff would have restocked the items for us but by the time we noticed this, it was late in the evening and there was no one in the office.

The room could have used a more thorough cleaning before we arrived. There was a great deal of dust throughout and we swept up enough sand to fill two dustpans.

Would we stay again....Definitely: but I hope the room gets cleaned and stocked better before our next visit.

We were very pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable spotlessly clean motel. The price was great and it was very nicely situated near an estuary. There were picnic tables, BBQs and logs to sit on by the water. We had one of the smaller rooms with a double bed and paid 85$ all in.
The bed was firm and comfortable with a table and 2 chairs dresser and writing table.
A great budget option near water!

Very comfortable accomodations, very well kept and very clean. Not far from the oceab although access is limited. Very quiet area but beautiful surroundings. The owners make you fell more than welcomed and they go out or there way to make your stay a most memorable occasion. Very well situated (only a few kilometers from Shedic or 'Aboiteau beaches) with easy access to many beautiful sites in the area

We only have the Cabin that is Air Conditioned, apart from the odd very warm day we usually have a good sea breeze to keep the air cool.
