We stayed at this public house for three days, August bank holiday. We choose this venue ideally situated to visit the lovely Cotswold area. The Bathurst Arms is located in a very quiet area there is nothing else nearby which was fine for us. We were given room 5, a reasonably comfy room but somewhat been neglected. We reported two...

We visited for our anniversary having stayed here on honeymoon 2 years ago. Our room (4) was clean but in need of an update - flaky paint, cracked ceiling, bathroom in need of re-grouting etc. It adds up to a budget feeling. We had dinner on the Saturday night and found the service to extremely slow and inattentive. We waited...

We stayed in the Bathurst Arms for 1 night for our anniversary weekend at the beginning of August. We arrived fairly late in the evening and was shown to our room which was quite frankly average (apart from the bed was very comfortable). The room had not been cleaned thoroughly with a parting gift left from the previous occupant in...

Hi Amberdusty, Thanks so much for your review; we appreciate hearing about your stay, even if it's not always so positive as it means we can improve and tailor to our customer's standards. We admit the rooms are not the biggest or most lavish (we're a listed building so there are only so many renovations we can do!- also we...

We were visiting the area and spotted the Bathurst arms on the way in as it looked really attractive and very "Cotswolds". Returned for lunch-the guy behind the bar seemed a little stressed but we were served by a young girl who was efficient and professional. As it was a nice day we sat outside by the stream-gorgeous! The food...

Very relaxed atmosphere, nice rooms and a breakfast to die for (they know how to cook their bacon!). 20 minutes from Cheltenham and 10 minutes from Cirencester it's a great location. It's a shame there's not more information available on a good pub walk to go with.

Hi Hlizg24, Thanks so much for letting us know what you thought! We're chuffed you enjoyed your breakfast - all of our produce is locally sourced so probably why that bacon was so deliciously tasty! We're putting together a list of good walks in the area at the moment as obviously good walks and the Cotswolds go hand in hand....

Know the Bathurst Arms and went with friends for our usual whitebait so we were surprised to find new owners and no whitebait. Menu looked interesting and with some unusual dishes. We ordered the small fish and chips and sardines on toast with spicy aubergine, both were lovely. Also a cheese plate of five cheeses but served with bread which...

Hi Matilda48, Thanks so much for your review! We really appreciate that you've taken the time to let us know how your lunch was, we can only apologise that it was not quite as you expected.
