Our 15 acre riverside campground is located on the stunning South Shore, with short scenic drives to Lunenburg, Peggy’s Cove, Halifax, Annapolis Valley and more. With a rental trailer and tiny cabins, unserviced and serviced campsites, and seasonal spots, we have something for everyone. Our family-friendly atmosphere and strong sense of community set us apart.
Guests can enjoy the grounds and join in on events for all ages; everything from washer toss and darts tournaments to live music and DJ dances. Our property hosts swimming holes, fly fishing, walking trails, general store, dog run, mini golf, a games room, playground, and much more.

First off , we had a blast may 2-4 weekend ! So much so, we have reserved 3 more dates for the summer season ! Lots of kid and adult friendly activities . Very kind, polite and accommodating hosts . Porta potties scattered around but the main bathrooms have 2 hot showers u can use for free! Very family oriented and the seasonal campers were also warm and inviting . We didn’t get to swim this time but I can’t wait to get in the river and float downstream 😊 there was a fire ban the weekend we went , but the hosts had a communal fire for cooking . We stayed in the tiny Cabins and they were the perfect size . Fridge , microwave and a fan included !! Totally worth the price which is quite modest 👌 power outlets inside and out of the cabins which was great for cooking with our air fryer . Check for a fire ban before you arrive and plan for a separate cooking source ( air fryer, bbq, convection oven etc ) just in case …

Amazing campground, we have camped here for many years! The improvements the new owners have made are nothing short of amazing! The owners and staff are absolutely the best. The only campground my teenage daughter wants to go camping at!

This campground is the best in the province. From tubing down the River to handing out treats at the Halloween themed weekend. I’ve been seasonal at many campgrounds but this by far is the best. Kid friendly, great activities and great hosts. If you are looking for a great stay come to Lahave Campground. Washrooms are so clean. Very comfortable showers. Can’t go wrong at this campground. Well done !!!!!!

Would highly recommend, we stayed with our pop up trailer and there was ample space for setup with power and water. The restrooms were clean and well kept. We have booked our next stay and will be definitely booking more in the future

Not a good campground if you have really young kids. Good luck getting any sleep, this campground is a party campground with a quiet time of 12am which I find absolutely ridiculous. Campsites are really small and the bathrooms are horrible made me feel like puking they smell so bad oh also there is no pool you are swimming in the river which is Rocky and really brown.

We're going to politely disagree with you here. We are a tight knit family campground here at LaHave, with plenty of amenities and activities for all ages. Plenty of fun goes on here, but not big partying, and we love that music and laughter can be heard around the campground up until 12pm. We might suggest a provincial campground with an earlier quiet time and a pool, since you didn't enjoy swimming in the beautiful LaHave River.

We stayed for three days and our campsite was very wet the outhouse was dicusting. The campsites were very close to each other and lots of dogs that barked all the time day and night this campground isn't for everyone and we found it to be expensive compared to other campgrounds.

We're sorry you were unhappy with your stay! Unfortunately camping on the long weekends when things are sold out brings extra people, noise, animals, etc. Our pricing is in line with other campgrounds at just $45/50 a night though.

Just finished up our first year as seasonal. Quiet and relaxing during the week; various activities on the weekend. Great for trailers but also nice tenting sites including a couple great spots for group camping - perfect for a quiet get-away with family. We would have loved those when we were tenting. Great people running the place who are open to suggestions and feedback. Watch for Tundra, their dog, as he helps patrol the grounds in the golf cart. Looking forward going back next year.

We have been seasonal campers here for 9 seasons and it is our happy place. Beautiful river and many activities on the weekends. Great new owners who are always around to help out. Can’t wait for next season.

We stayed here for a few days in October 2020 with our dogs and felt so welcomed. We were included in the end of season dinner, a communal bonfire, it just felt like visiting old friends. Highly recommend!!!!
