The cabin was perfect for our family. It was an easier way of camping with a three year old who needs his sound machine. Everyone was friendly and I felt like my son was very included in the kids activities even though we are not regulars. The fenced in dog area was helpful for my dog who has a hrd time pooping on leash. Can't wait to go back.

First off , we had a blast may 2-4 weekend ! So much so, we have reserved 3 more dates for the summer season ! Lots of kid and adult friendly activities . Very kind, polite and accommodating hosts . Porta potties scattered around but the main bathrooms have 2 hot showers u can use for free! Very family oriented and the seasonal campers were also warm and inviting . We didn’t get to swim this time but I can’t wait to get in the river and float downstream 😊 there was a fire ban the weekend we went , but the hosts had a communal fire for cooking . We stayed in the tiny Cabins and they were the perfect size . Fridge , microwave and a fan included !! Totally worth the price which is quite modest 👌 power outlets inside and out of the cabins which was great for cooking with our air fryer . Check for a fire ban before you arrive and plan for a separate cooking source ( air fryer, bbq, convection oven etc ) just in case

Thank you so much for having us!

We are locals from the area and have always talked about checking out this campground and finally got out this past weekend for a night.

The weather was on our side and we even got down to the swimming hole for a refreshing dip. Our washer toss boxes had gone a bit flimsy from spending the winter in storage and the pipe came out but a quick repair from the owner Kalen and we were good to go for some more games, thank you!

Not as big as some other campgrounds around but the people are very friendly and many activities going on. We enjoyed the delicious treats we got supporting the seasonal kiddos at their entrepreneur day sale. We are also big pool players so enjoyed the table on site for $1 a game, we brought our own cues and glad we did so all 4 of us could enjoy a game together.

Hope you have a successful summer season this place is a gem!

I enjoy making a trip to Lahave River Campground and booking a tiny cabin (in lieu of tenting). The cabins are equipped with a mini fridge and microwave which makes life a bit easier. Just bring your bedding, groceries, and a portable BBQ if you choose (we managed without one) and enjoy! I’ve stayed in the past a few times but this is the first time under new ownership and it was great! The office looks amazing and the kids spent more time in mini-golf than anywhere else. The winning hole is great and we enjoyed trying out the new horse shoe pit. If you are looking to get away to a very nature-surrounded area from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is a great place to do it. The owners were very accommodating to us under a particular circumstance and I thank them for that.

We stayed here for a few days in October 2020 with our dogs and felt so welcomed. We were included in the end of season dinner, a communal bonfire, it just felt like visiting old friends. Highly recommend!!!!

Would highly recommend, we stayed with our pop up trailer and there was ample space for setup with power and water. The restrooms were clean and well kept. We have booked our next stay and will be definitely booking more in the future

We have had our camper here for a year as seasonal, and I won’t be taking it anywheres else! We absolutely love it here!
washer toss tournaments , darts, horseshoes, farmers market, a dog run .bbq’s .. different events for the kids, dj dances .. LIVE music.. beer bingo.. “community” bon fires ..which is the best part!!! And they are always looking for new things to to.
My kids love the swimming hole and riding the lazy river they call it lol

Definitely feels like home here!
Our lil camper family!

We were looking forward to camping but mother nature has been against us. We just purchased a travel trailer and have been visiting different campgrounds. It seems to rain every weekend we have booked and this was no exception, setting up with rain, extreme rain Saturday with a bonus light show of Thunder and lightning and more on Sunday; I prefer fire works but not with the welcome to the campground we received. Take down was so fun if I was a duck...lol. They were amazing hosts and accommodated us by changing our site for a less soggy one. They were friendly and kind and made us enjoy camping there, even with the rain. We enjoyed live music which was my favorite and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome even with all the seasonal camping family, it was like we were a part of the family....of ducks, soaked together...lol. Thanks Kalen, Jamie Lee and Tundra, hubby really enjoyed the Tundra cuddles even though we have our own dogs, always time for a cuddle. Thanks for making our 1st experience a memorable one and hope to return with rubber boots or sunshine.

This place has new owners who have a lot of work ahead of them. Clearly the former owners let this place get run down. Washrooms are nice and clean and showers are free to use. Sites or ok. Some look quite nice but others are very open and not very level. Although there are no sewer sites, they do have someone who comes around weekly to sites to empty tanks without having to go to the dump site. Swim area is ok but entry to the water could use some work to make it easier access. Road coming into the camp is steep and narrow. Be prepared for this. Signage on the main road where you turn in is right at the turn, if you miss it you will not be able to turn a trailer around to get back, but gps will take you around the back way. Prices are good. With work this can become a real gem.

Thank you very much for your review here. With all due respect, we are going to say that we already are a real gem of a campground! Admittedly, our sites are not huge, nor perfectly level.. But this property is beautiful, and we continue to beautify it year over year with a lot of hard work. Our road in has been widened and flattened (and people can turn their trailers around or simply drive around the park, fyi for anyone concerned), our swimming holes are enjoyed by many, and we have a real gem of a community here.

Very accommodating staff and cabin was perfect for our needs!
We hauled in with a tent site booking, and the owners upgraded us to a cabin with ease, to escape the rain. Cabin had a screened in porch, mini fridge and fan! Was a great find!
