We could write a short novel on how much we enjoyed our weekend at the Lake House. The facilities alone would rate them at five stars and when you consider the amenities, gourmet breakfasts, hospitality, and attention to detail there would not be enough stars in the sky to properly rate them. Our hosts Elaine and Ray greeted us and were warm, delightful, and made us feel welcomed within seconds of pulling up the drive. The property features a pool, multiple patios and decks, a dock, barbecue, and kayaks making the Lake House a true retreat for those who are looking for a getaway retreat for a few days. Thank you Elaine and Ray for a wonderful weekend. We look forward to visiting again soon. Cheers, Brad & Barry

Wow, Elaine and Ray’s place is stunning! They couldn’t have been nicer as to all our needs and nothing was a problem. We spent a lovely evening with them sitting chatting in front of the fire! Breakfasts were amazing as were the homemade warm muffins every morning! We had the Lake Breeze room with king bed and huge ensuite! Don’t hesitate to book this lovely spot! Can’t wait to visit again!

We stayed for 3 days at this place. I went with two friends on a girl's road trip from Bedford to Yarmouth and the Acadia coast. Elaine and Ray are spectacular hosts. The property is a dream, and the two went out of their way to make our experience a pleasant and unforgettable one. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The rooms, the brunch style breakfasts, the lobster dinner, the beautiful view, the pool, the surroundings, and the overall experience was extraordinary. Without a doubt, The Lake House is one of the best places I have enjoyed during my vacation. If you plan a little visit to these parts, this is the place to stay.

A beautiful home with a dedicated B&B wing. 24/7 access to a lakeview lounge. A delicious breakfast featuring signature dishes prepared from locally-sourced ingredients, an urn of fresh coffee and home-baked, still-warm-from-the-oven muffins or scones.

Stunning guest house with the most amazing lake view. Stayed with my husband, and my mum. We could not fault this wonderful house in its stunning and peaceful location. Ensuite rooms with TV, and use of tea and coffee making in the breakfast room. Elaine provided the best ever scones for early morning tea! There is free canoeing on the lake, a pool, an outdoor fireplace, towels, a gorgeous guest lounge, patios to enjoy the sunset, and the most welcoming of hosts. Breakfast was a delight, as was seeing the deer in the garden in the evening. We can heartily recommend The Lake House. Thank you, Elaine and Ray!
