We cannot say enough about the Logden Lodge experience. This was our second time visiting Logden Lodge and it was every bit as special as the first time. Paul and Annelise have designed the property to afford maximum privacy and comfort for their guests. Other than a short trip to Nelson we spent all of our time relaxing at our thoughtfully curated cabin. Many thanks to Paul and Annelise for sharing their special property with us and our pup, Murphy. We look forward to visiting again. Kind regards, Brian and Jane Lougheed

Dear Brian & Jane, Thanks so much for your repeat visit and glowing feedback, it's always a true pleasure to have you here! We've befriended a dog whisperer who will help Laika understand that Murphy has every right to enjoy the place as much as you do so next time they may roam the property in unison...:). Wishing you both well and we'd look forward to meet again another time! Warmest, Paul & Annelies

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by forest and a running stream then this is THE place to be! Have never experienced this environment before and felt so reluctant to go back to the busyness of London! Great hosts and great venue! Hope to visit again soon.

I have to start off by mentioning how welcoming and chill Paul and Annelies are. My girlfriend and I felt relaxed immediately. The cabin was outstanding and had everything a couple could want for a cozy getaway. The extra deep tub was nice as was the serene nature of the environment there. Thank you guys for being the perfect hosts and hope you enjoyed the fruit bowl we put together. Danke, bedankt and good luck with your journey! Bret & Carrie

We stayed at Logden Lodge just before Christmas 2022. We knew from the reviews that we would not be disappointed but it was even better than expected. What a great place to spend cold winter nights and ski at Whitewater. The wood stove was perfect and the beds, well, they are outstanding. Would love to come back in the future. A huge thanks to our hosts. You have a real gem.

From the moment we turned into the driveway of Logden Lodge to our departure three days later it was a five star experience! Hosts, Paul and Annelise provided us with a warm welcome while ensuring that privacy was afforded at all times. We stayed in the Elise Cabin, located by the like named creek that runs along side the cabin. We were struck by how seamlessly the cabins blend into their natural surroundings. It is obvious that the owners placed the utmost importance on preserving the integrity of the natural setting. The cabin had a luxurious feel with a super comfortable bed and a thoughtfully curated collection of furniture, objects and artwork from the owners private collection. If you are looking for a get away that provides an opportunity to unplug, rest, reflect and reconnect with nature than look no further than Logden Lodge. That being said, if the peace and quiet becomes too much, the hip and happening town of Nelson is an easy 30 minute drive. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and we hope to return to this magical forest retreat soon. Many thanks for Paul and Annelise for sharing their special place with us! Kind regards, Jane, Brian and their pup, Murphy

I cannot in good faith recommend this lodge as the owners are unreliable and argumentative. The cabins are very rustic, which would very fine, but they charge for and advertise luxury. Unit had previous dog's hair, so not deep cleaned, as promised. Supply very cheap coffee. Coffee maker not cleaned and had previous guest's moldy coffee. Because of their own holiday, negatively impacted the start of our holiday, by moving our arrival time ahead by several hours, within hours of our arrival. After a long drive with 2 dogs, and very hot weather, we were very inconvenienced. They suggested we use the time to have a nice dinner out. Hmm, and what were we supposed to do with our dogs while we had this nice dinner out?

Kathy, hi again. Somehow we are not surprised you now choose a public forum, after endless communication via the phone and email. What does surprise us that here, you bring up things we've not heard from you before. During your stay we were always here, we chatted, all in a friendly way, and you didn't mention any of this. You were happy then with the way we built our cabins, our choice to use all wood, blending the cabins into nature with all the luxury amenities you need. We are the owners, and also prepare the cabins. The cabins are always thoroughly cleaned. The coffee is from a good brand (Nabob), and complimentary. As you know, we were due to arrive back 2 days prior to your arrival, and the moment we realised we may be delayed too much, we contacted you about our situation from the airport the night before, tried to keep you informed during our trip home and extended you a discount. To none of our messages you responded. We can in good faith say that we are not unreliable, nor argumentative, and always do our very best to accommodate our guests with anything they need. We can recommend a nice hotel in Nelson next time you are in the area. With kind regards, and wishing you all the best, Paul & Annelies

There were 5 of us staying in the Heritage Cabin for 3 nights. It was in a beautiful, quiet location. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The porch and firepit were great, and the plentiful firewood was nice and dry. It was a great spot to explore the surrounding area, including Nelson and Ymir, then in the evening relax around the fire. I would highly recommend, and look forward to visiting again.

Our two nights in the Gold Cup Cabin were the best. Annelies and Paul are welcoming hosts. The cabin was so well designed and appointed and beds are very comfortable. Loved our porch, fireplace and barbecue. Kitchen well equipped and excellent location for visiting Salmo, Ymir, Kaslo and Nelson. Loved the mural walk through Nelson, coffee at Oso Negro, Kootenay Co-op for groceries, food at Yum Son, Nelson Brewing Co. for beers. Can’t wait to come back.

Logden Lodge is a gem. We visited in late May and although the weather was chillier and rainier than normal for this time of year, we were very comfortable in our gorgeous and well-appointed log cabin. The log stove kept us warm, and we were able to curl up and relax - - or walk the trails on the property and find the delightful surprises there. We were able to cook our meals as the kitchen featured everything we needed. Every last detail was well thought out.

We stayed here with our two dogs and 9 month old baby. It was comfortable, clean and cozy. The hosts were kind and so helpful. We honestly had the best time and our baby miraculous slept 12 hours through the night. It was a peaceful stay and we loved the wood-burning stove and bbq. Highly recommend visiting. They had some games for playing, the kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils, the bathroom robes and slippers were such a nice touch and the beds were so comfy.
