I was so surprised to find this gem on a road I have driven many times. It is tucked away and an amazing find. I live in the area but staying at Logden Lodge felt just as relaxing if we were a million miles away. I really enjoyed the theme of our cabin. The African artifacts the owners collected from their worldly travels add a richness to the experience that is totally unique to them. The grounds were well kept and well lit. There was even a trail on site where we could stretch our legs and get a really good view. I will be recommending this spot to anyone who comes to visit from out of town and professional collaborators who might want to embark on a little staycation to get the creative juices going!
Was a beautiful tranquil getaway from the hustle and bustle of town. I was raised in the area and Nelson has grown tremendously in the past few years. It's precious to have these cabins for relatives visiting who are looking for a dreamy forest getaway. Our cabin had the most beautiful worldly artifacts (I loved the rugs!). I have to say the main reason why I highly recommend staying here is the beds are heavenly! A good night sleep is worth a lot. Ideal for a romantic getaway or a local stay-cation. Would be a great place to host various family members for a wedding etc. Can't wait to go back.
Wow! I really wasn't sure what to expect coming to Logden Lodge and may I just say, I was BLOWN AWAY. The cabins are so charming and are really more like houses - I've never been in a cabin that feels so solid. The beds are unbelievable - like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen has everything you need and honestly, the feel of the cabin is just sooo charming - like you would imagine a cute woodsy cabin to be. The walking trails all around are amazing and it's really easy to get to some incredible vistas. The hosts are SO friendly and have incredible stories to share. I can't wait to come back in the winter for a ski vacay! Thank you Logden Lodge!
Returning to Logden Lodge for our second StayCation (previously we stayed in the Winter) offered a different opportunity for collaboration and memory-making. Our COVID-bubble spent the weekend sharing readings of morning magic, foraging for mushrooms, the early evenings at the lookout and many moments lounging around in our PJ’s sharing food. The bath oozes luxury and the beds, well the beds… once again, left me speechless. We will be back, hopefully not as long between stays.
We loved everything about Logden Lodge. We went skiing a few days at Whitewater and found this gem! Cozy, charming, quaint & private cabins in the woods. Very well built & finished (with wood from local mills) and upscale amenities including bathrobes! Lovely porch to sit outside & enjoy a drink, BBQ, great wood stove.... and no TV (so bring good books)! So great to sit back, relax and enjoy nature! Very nice owners. We’ll be back!
