Such a magical affair staying here, we had to extend our stay and I'm sure you too will want to. From the warm friendly and resourceful staff creating a sense of community to the outdoor hot showers, layers of multiple camping options from RV with electricity to tenting under a cooling rainforest canopy this place emits peace, and a deep connection and stewardship to this land. Multiple water trees for your convenience, A lush tropical bathroom with ferns and a tree growing thru it, multiple watering sources at trees and the cutest eclectic garden store. The city brilliantly created heaps of pathways thru forests all around the campground to encourage ease of travel without vehicles. So there are multiple paths to town from your campsite thru a stunning rainforest all 10-15 minute hikes thru precious protected old growth. I'm pretty sure most of the forest including camp sites are at least 5 degrees cooler than the swelting village summer heat. This is such an affordable way to explore the treasures of the Ganges. Enchantment awaits you, call ahead to book your stay today.

Great place, funky, epic garden take your time, same in the office. Easy to get around the island; hiking, swimming or just chillin. There's a wheel barrow for walk-in campsites. Ganges is walkable through the tree trail. Thanks Shane :)

we loved this campsite, first off the office is sooo interesting with objects to see wherever you turn and then surrounding the quaint office is a very interesting garden, with many plants for sale. there are quaint outhouse washrooms with little lamps and mirrors and a large private shower hooked up to a huge cedar. so unique! it joins a forest trail right into downtown, about a 15 min walk.

Equipt with personal table, chairs etc. Built on a hill it literally has a different experience per site. maybe 3 RVs to 6-7 vans types to lots of tenting options. Love the walk to Ganges town, thru the eclectic forest that includes a disc golf course. Bring your shopping bag and easy walk. Beautiful and cute office selling ++, yet never saw a human on our trip with a easy phone to no contact check in and out. All in all, so cute, weird, quiet, comfy, so SSI. Soooo will return

This was my second stay at the Garden Faire Campground, as I camped there for two days on my way off of Salt Spring Island, and my experience was first class :) I arrived in the evening, and quickly and easily was matched up with some accommodations. There was already two buckets of wood that were cut up and ready for me to use, as there is a steel fire pit on almost every campground. The bathroom facilities all clean and well lit, which was great as it was already dark out at that point. I went to the camping spot that is the highest up on the ridge, and nestled quietly within the trees - this is a tranquil spot, and my experience was zen like there :) I also want to say ... the little water faucets throughout the ground, with clean and fresh drinking water, are amazing !! plus a public electrical outlet close to the well lit bathroom - perfect :) I love this place, and the people who operate it, and I will come again ... see you soon !!

The Garden Faire is a perfect destination for friends, couples or larger groups. The grounds are spacious and tucked into the side of a mountain. The land feels like an enchanted forest, with lush plant life and mini faerie gardens dotted throughout the grounds. Each campsite has its own unique charm :) The bathroom facilities are clean and up-kept, with jungle style outhouses, outdoor hot showers and numerous water stations and electrical outlets available - as well as firewood, chairs, a table, and garbage/recycling storage provided at each site. The campground is close to Ganges and connects with the downtown area via road or beautiful hiking trails. Self check-in after hours also makes this site accessible for late night travellers. We loved it so much, we extended our stay!

Stayed here with a friend, and it was truly a beautiful experience. It is peaceful, the facilities are plenty and the space is well cared for and cozy. It had the feeling of a fairytale with the way the camp sites are structured, and all the cool little details around the property. The energy here is lovely, and we will be coming back soon :)

Wonderful experience! This campground is a gem of an escape for those fortunate enough to stay here. The outhouses were cleaned regularly, each site had individual recycling and garbage bins. The outdoor shower among the trees was heavily! Shayne is an excellent host. Cool and quiet sites surrounded by exquisite cedar and burlap fences. Fresh water available at multiple locations. Close to Ganges but far enough away to relax and enjoy nature. Cool breezes each morning. Sites among the trees which allowed for refreshing mornings without waking up to a hot tent! By far the best campground I have ever stayed at! I look forward to my next stay at Garden Faire Campground.

Loved the funky nature of the place and walking to Ganges through the forest was perfect. The smell of sewage wafting through our site...not so much. The outhouses were rather stinky, dirty and full. The sites offer little to no privacy and the recycle center nearby woke me up at 4:30 or so. So for $35 a night, felt like waaaay to much to spend. Would not stay there again, but it may just be the right spot for some.
