Great motel. Friendly staff. Great room. Very quiet. Bilingual which was great. Will stay there every time I travel to Ontario. Was traveling alone to Ontario and they made me feel very comfortable and safe there.

Very basic rooms, sparse and clean. immediately beside the highway. Motel was quiet. Good location if you want to get up and go. Food options are fairly close by. Owners are very friendly. They accommodated our dog, which is much appreciated.

We were recently left stranded a few minutes from this motel during a storm. Allan was the second location I phoned for a place to lay our heads for the night and because of his incredible customer service over the phone we went with his motel! I explained to him I had not spoke French in 12 years and immediately spoke to me in English. He knew I was trying my best and It is extremely difficult to find someone in Quebec who will not look down on you for that. Money was not an issue, we at that point we’re willing to pay any amount of money just to have a place to lay our heads and figure out how we would get back to Nova Scotia the following morning. He gave us a deal and did not charge us for a third person. Nothing was opened at that point and he knew we were hungry so he did his best and gave us each a Boost drink. He ensured we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. I will choose Allan’s Motel 1000x over a 5 star any day! His amazing customer service and his generosity did not go unnoticed and we will forever be grateful for him!

The host who I spoke to on the phone was helpful enough in trying to find the motel at night. He originally said our room for two people and two dogs would cost $109. When I said I'd call around he dropped it to $99. They had us pay a $50 deposit because of our dogs and also gave my mom grief saying that he was worried they would ruin the room. Our dogs are well behaved and we knew they wouldn't cause any damage. The next morning when we returned the keys and asked for our deposit, the female host rudely said that our room was very dirty and begrudgingly gave us back our deposit. Why allow dogs in the first place if you're going to make your customers feel terrible for it. We left the room as clean as anyone else would, a few towels used and the bed unmade. The bed was hard, there were only two small pillows and the room certainly wasn't worth $100 considering we were chastised before we left.

Very clean and a convenient location close to the highway. The host was very friendly....and very helpful. It was after our trip that we realized how much so. Our granddaughter left her 'pink' bear under her pillow (which she had received as a baby). We didn't realize this until we received a telephone call telling us it had been found. Arrangements were made to post it to us! Very thankful! Yes, the host was that kind!
