This hotel isn't the modernist of hotels. No major dramas, other than the toilet door wouldn't shut in my room unless the toilet seat was up. There's a little chef next door, but I didn't use it as there's a much better pub just up the road attached to a premier in.

had a great experience, clean room, friendly staff who were only too willing to help. meals were at the Little Chef next door or the staff directed you to the petrol station next door for M & S food (Little Chef was expensive!). I already have plans to go back!

Last minute booking - pleasantly surprised , warm welcome and was able to change my room so it was not road facing (lite sleeper). Tea/coffee in rooms- Quite a large room but very comfy bed and very little noise in terms of other guests. Great location for me next to A31 and just few minutes drive from client (I did...

Negatives first - place is on the side of the A31 near a petrol station, so the noise from cars and bikes did wake me up a few times. SO if you are a lit sleeper ask for a room that dose not face the road. Positives - the place was clean tidy and had a fresh smell to it....

This was a last minute booking but I still expect a quality stay. The room was cold, noisy, the shower had a distinct lack of pressure and the door had been repaired after it had been kicked in. I slept well but that was because I was absolutely nackered. My wife and the kids didnt sleep that well due to...

Firstly, when we booked we requested 2 cots for our 2 yr old and almost 1 year old and when we arrived there was only 1 cot available. Given this was a huge selling point (and one of the reasons we travelled 15miles out). Secondly, how noisy does a Road have to be before a hotel considers additional sound proofing?!...

A truly pet-friendly hotel, where our two dogs were welcomed rather than just tolerated! This made our stay much more relaxing and enjoyable for us. A comfortable hotel for pets and owners alike, and the staff are friendly and helpful, and keen to be of service.

Very noisy at the front of the hotel due to road noise. Didn't sleep due this problem. Moved into a room at the rear of the hotel which was much better, but disgusted to find a used laughing gas canister by my daughters bed. Cleaners need to pay more attention!
