This is our 8th vacation in 14 months. Customer service is grate,4 our room is quiet and bed is comfortable. As a traveling family I did notice that there was only 1 power outlet free for our use. As my wife and I stayed in 1 room with only 1 plug we would loose a charging spot for one phone...

A few months ago, I was part of a group that had a lunch meeting at the Red Lion. Despite our group members having booked their meal choices weeks ahead, the event was a disaster. This week, I went back to the Red Lion for another lunch meeting. The new publican has transformed the place! The food was great, the...

Have had a lovely meal at The Red Lion tonight - great food, with a good variety of choices. The Pub was very cosy, and the staff were all very welcoming. Will definitely be returning very soon, to try out the Sunday Lunch Menu.

A very nice inn dating back to 17th Century situated between Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet and convenient for Wells, the coast and visiting many places of interest in Somerset amidst lovely countryside. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We were visiting family nearby so didn't eat in the pub but the menu looked interesting.

We stopped here to get a bite to eat having built up an appetite climbing the Tor. Arrived a couple of minutes after 2 and asked if they did any cold food - a sandwich would have done. Absolutely Not! No exceptions. Recommended we try the Apple Tree down the road. - thanks very much - we were glad they...

Came here on a last minute booking at 7 on a Friday night. The staff were friendly and the food good pub food. I was surprised to be asked during the booking about whether we had vegetarians, food intolerances etc, so assume they will be accommodating. We were staying in a cottage near by, so the location was great for...

Room was large, comfortable with modern bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Meal in the evening was outstanding (pork belly) and breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend for a short stay.

My colleague and I stayed here last night and couldn't be happier with the experience. Our rooms were spacious, warm and had very modern bathrooms. The pub served tasty food and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a few pints and enjoyed the company of both staff and locals, very enjoyable stay!

We were travelling back from Wiley Hole one night and were looking for a place to stop and eat when we stubbed across this pub. We got there at 845 and just made it before the kitchen closed. The bartender / server was wonderful. He was so friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We were surprised to hear he was new there....
