I had heard about this place from friends and decided to take a day trip to check it out for ourselves. On arrival, my husband thought perhaps they were not serving meals- minimal cars outside. Stepping inside was like walking into grandma's eclectically decorated living room- we walked 3 steps, but back 75 years to a more relaxed and genteel...

I had high hopes. An interesting, out of the way quirky venue. But the short of it is that the meal was terrible. So bad I wouldn't bother give it a second chance. I suggest sticking to just having a passing through drink on a day trip through the country.

Have been to the Radio Springs aka Centre of the Universe several times now and it never fails to impress. A lovely old place with fabulous ambience. A group of us usually go for Sunday lunch. You can relax to a small group playing music in the corner. The menu is innovative and always delicious. Service is always good. And...

We went here a few weeks ago and stayed overnight. The pub has a great bar, great food and good accommodation which has a lot of retro style furniture. The service is outstanding and the owners cant do enough to help you out. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing weekend away.

Stayed in the Japanese room with direct access to the Verandah for a quiet rest in the afternoon sun, then joined the locals in the bar for a chat over a splendid Gin & Tonic. Enjoyed the Barramundi for dinner and after a splendid night of slumber, the delightful Radio Springs Breakfast of "The Works" and plenty of strong Coffee....

Time was when every small Aussie town proudly offered its' hospitality and spirit to visitors and travellers .... distilled and shared through the doors of each towns' wholly unique local pub. Sadly, so many pubs are lost to us now .... economics demands a level homogenisation that wld bore anyone to death. Not so @ the Radio Springs Hotel. She...

The Radio Springs Hotel's website jokingly beckons you to "Journey to the Centre of the Universe" to enjoy their country fare and hospitality. I beckon you not to bother. The hotel is indeed gorgeously charming in terms of decor, etc. but sadly the experience stops there. The wine list is not reflective of what's in the fridge (different year in...

Arrived early for a group booking which was accommodated by a tour of the new "Beach Bar" facilities to be opened next week. Just another service angle to what is already the best available. Lunch was brilliant as is usually the case all members mentioned the meal quality and the only detriment was the size of the Duck and Berry...

It has been a while since I was last here and , as the title says, like a fine wine..it has gotten even better with age ( if that is at all possible!). Hard to categorise this fine establishment. The food was really artfully prepared by Chef Jarred Simmonds and his crew (Vegetables from their own garden...can't get fresher). The...

Four of us dropped into the Lyonville hotel for lunch. We were looking for a venue between Daylesford and Kyneton and this pub was just the ticket. There was live music (guitar, violin, banjo) playing to both the public bar and the restaurant. This place is quirky, interesting, and a lot of fun. The staff all obviously enjoy their work...
