We were passing through on our way to Sarlat, and stopped for lunch. Had no expectations whatsoever. They dont speak much english or have english menu's, but we muddled through, again a bit apprehensive of what we were ordering (Especially with 3 fussy kids). But....what we got was delicious. I am ever back in this area, I am definitely dining...

I ate here twice on my recent stay in the Dordogne. It is a good restaurant...good food, good presentation, good staff and good prices, especially on Sundays and holidays when all the menus come in at the same price - a nice low one. Two things cause me not to give the restaurant a higher rating. They took place at...

We have eaten here several times and the standard never varies, always excellent ! Menus are varied and interesting and the chef does daily specials as an extra. staff are very friendly and helpful and restaurant and terrace are much bigger than you think. I would absolutely recommend it.

Our first visit. For a meal and discussion on a future meeting of our Association. Situated opposite the Chateau at Campagne, (recently refurbished) it was larger than I expected. 60+ covers. An excellent meal, good service great location.

Came across this delightful place after visiting Sarlat and Les Eyzies on a Sunday, and as there were so many cars parked we knew it had to be good. And we were not dissapointed. French families out for Sunday lunch, the restaurant was packed but a table was found for us. French delights of fois gras, canard, desserts to die...

Not bad - beautiful spot, menu with decent enough local cuisine but nothing out of the ordinary. Heavy duck bias, felt a little predictable but quality was good, service friendly if a little formal. Overall a pleasant enough dining experience with a slightly old-fashioned feel.

we were in this place just for a quick bite at lunch; we paid 19.8 (!) euro for 2 persons including water, 2 beers, 2 big salades (one with goat cheese the other with smoked salmon) and coffee as well; you can't get robbed here; the salades were OK but nothing to write home about; but good value for money...

Turned up unannounced for three nights. No English spoken but very welcoming. Colour scheme ' very French' and bathroom dark but adequate. The pluses? Fantastic food, lots to see from our balcony and very central for touring the western Dordogne and Vizere valley.

Lovely outside terrace? Excellent food. Rooms a bit dated but even back rooms have small balcony. Bathrooms in need of update. Overall, I'd you're there for the food, would highly recommend.
