Me and my partner stayed here in May 2017 whilst travelling around Scotland, it made the perfect break from our van. Janet was a lovely and attentive host and we loved having the donkeys and chickens next to us. The hut is decorated wonderfully with lots of little touches. We particularly enjoyed our breakfasts, espcially having warm croissants and coffee...

We cannot thank Janette enough for her kind hospitality. My wife was apprehensive about staying in a hut, she enjoyed the remoteness and views and we converted her! The hut was immaculate and very well appointed. The sun room was great for afternoon teas and taking in the vista. The bathroom inside the cottage made my wife feel at home....

We decided to visit the Skye Sheperd Huts as a way to get out of the city for a break. It really lived up to our expectations! A romantic and quiet spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery! Janet was great to deal with.

Janet was warm and welcoming. The hut was more than equipped, in fact better equipped than most places we have stayed in. Bed was comfortable, woke up to the sound of a cuckoo, amazing countryside views, breakfast was delicious.

We enjoyed a fabulous return to Skye Shepherd Huts. Lovely to unwind and relax and see Janet again as well as the dogs, cats, donkeys and especially the hens. Had the added bonus of Mediterranean weather too and also a great walk up to mountain lochs where we didn't meet a soul over six miles. Can't wait to return!

We stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. For what can be seen as a small space, it has packed so much in with some lovely touches. Our hut was spotless and very comfortable. The view was fantastic and the animals on sight were very friendly. Janet was such a friendly and helpful person who made you feel...

Wonderful mini holiday, cozy hut with a wood burner all the amenities and super comfy bed. Fantastic views and lovely slightly remote location. Perfect place for a romantic break. We will definitely go back. We were allowed to bring our dog with us which was a bonus!

We stayed at Skye Shepherd Huts for five nights and had the most wonderful time. Although the weather was changeable, the hut was brilliant - a log burner for colder nights and outside space for warmer mornings. The hut is so cosy and relaxing, and I couldn't think of a better place to stay on the island. Janet is a...

We were really looking forward to visiting the Skye Shepherd Huts, we love Skye and we love staying in quirky accommodation. We were not disappointed at all with the huts, they are so cosy and spacious. We were walking munros whilst in Skye and there was plenty of room for all our walking kit and casual gear. Janet has thought...
