Room was spacious and very well equipped however the toilet seat was broken so we were moved immediately to another room equally as nice. In fact we were given a choice of an alternative room. Receptionist was apologetic that the cleaner hadn't spotted broken toilet seat. Views from the hotel are fab. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach...

Came back after 7 years for the best steak and it didn't disappoint. Lovely meal again and gorgeous fish for our 2 year old. Young man serving was lovely but no one got very familiar to ask us where we were from etc, would make folk feel more welcome.

We had dinner here after getting off our ferry from Barra. We had a table booked but it wasn't that busy. We both ordered fish and chips and the food was cooked really well and tasted fantastic, really light batter, flaky fish and home made hand cut chips! Service was friendly and efficient too, so can't really fault the place!

Worth the visit for the stunning setting and ease of access to ferry. Helpful staff. Room small but tv worked. Would return. Restaurant good. An Inn with atmosphere popular with locals and residents alike

Stayed here on and off for nearly 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute. Good hospitality, great food and comfortable. Hot water can be a gamble but being up early and home late was never really an issue. Will definitely be using again!

Great views and location, OK room, and the food was second-rate. Restaurant staff were very pleasant and attentive, but amateur. Host had no record of our 4-week-advance two-night reservation, but due to bad weather were able to provide a room. She blamed the confusion on an outside reservation service that had unofficially piggy-backed on their official website. She said the...

Spent one night here on a driving tour of the Highlands & Islands. The thing that sets it apart is the location; right at the southernmost tip of South Uist with lovely views over Eriskay and Barra. The sunset on arrival was worth it alone. A warm welcome and a comfortable (if unspectacular) room. Good dinner and breakfast set us...

Rather a long walk to our room, should have told them that my husband had walking problems, but it was only 1 night, we had a small double which was plenty big enough, we had a nice view, we also ate in the restaurant & the food was superb, we were a little disapointed as we had seen on the...

Almost at the most southern tip of South Uist we found this inn, thanks to the directions of some local boys (we had forgotten to check the location on Google maps....). Traditional building right next to the beach. We also had the beautiful view from our room. Room itself was all in dark reddish colours, bit to gloomy for our...
