This was a truly amazing experience. I have travelled for work at the Cree Health Board and this was the first time staying here despite many visits to Chisasibi. The auberge overlooks the beautiful river. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. You will sleep on crisp white sheets and have fluffy white towels.

The best part was our host Greg who cooked up delicious breakfasts overlooking the water. He was so helpful the entire stay.

If you plan ahead they can rent you a car with your stay as they have two potentially available.

Thank you Greg for the warm welcome and hospitality. We stayed two nights in the Mistissini room. It was clean and comfortable. The bedding and towels were spotless. WIFI was very reliable. Breakfast ready when we asked for it, and it was delicious. They also have cars available to rent (but call before to make sure they are available). The view from the common area is fantastic.

Auberge Maanitaaukimikw truly felt like a home away from home. Being a BnB it felt much friendlier and interactive than a hotel room, and the breakfast was an opportunity to meet new people every morning.
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, the room and common areas were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the surrounding views were amazing. I would book at this place again during future trips to Chisasibi.
The one thing to point out is that it takes about 20 minutes to walk from/to the centre of the town. So if you don't have a ride, this could be a challenge in cold weather or late at night.

This is a new Auberge. Run by a family, it is accommodating, clean and comfortable enough but a little lean on amenities in the rooms.
Located on the shore of Le Grande river just a couple of miles below the Hydro Quebec LG1 dam, it has it's own access to the river and I am told will have a boat ramp in the near future.
The beds and linens are comfortable and the satellite TV's with a good channel selection are a big plus but the rooms could benefit from a chair for those who want to read or watch TV somewhere other than prone on a bed. Another small table/desk for computer use would also be a great addition.
Free Wi-Fi is nice and fairly fast considering the northerly location.
A hardy breakfast is included which includes, cereals, milk, juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham and fire potato. My only complaint was that the fare was the same for each of my 4 days there. Changing it up with some pancakes, bacon, yogurt and fresh fruit would be nice.
All-in-all, the auberge is a good addition to accommodations in the North. The owner and family are friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone who is hunting, fishing or there on a short business trip as I was.

At the end of our long road up north, we had a very pleasant and restorative stay here in this cozy place on the Grand River. Our room was comfortable, the host/owner was warm and welcoming, the breakfast was ample and delicious. And the community of Chisasabi, we are so glad we got to spend some time there. Don't miss the Museum of Natural and Cultural History. It's a different world up here.

Super clean rooms, clean bathroom, clean kitchen, comfy beds.

Stayed there for a week and had a very pleasant stay, I would recommend for anybody going to Chisasibi. Breakfast was like a feast every morning (I probably gained some weight), and we cooked our own food in a full equipped kitchen.

If you are looking for a comfortable stay in the area, this is the place. One of the nicest auberge I have experienced. Breakfast is quite good. Super clean. Shared bathrooms (3 for 9 rooms) aslo very clean. Host is attentive and very nice. Short drive to LG1 and LG2. Vending machines for snacks. Coin operated washer and dryer for clothing.

Stayed for one night, last minute booking for a flight crew member.

What a great place! Totally enjoyed it and would recommmend it.

For flight crew arriving after hours at the airport, there is a gate locked on the road about 500ft east of terminal, you will have to walk there for the cab to pick you up, easy to do but you have to know it.

I stayed in this B&B in June 2016 and had a great experience. The building is new and the rooms are big and clean. It is very conveniently located, close to the downtown and it has plenty of room to park for free.

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. They will help you with anything you need or any question you have while in Chisasibi. I traveled to Chisasibi for the purpose of visiting one specific place there and it would not have happened without the help of the place owner. It totally changed my experience in Chisasibi. The treatment you get in this B&B I doubt you get in a regular hotel.

I 100% recommend this place and I will definitely stay there when visiting Chisasibi again.

Hi, The B&B has 3 shared bathrooms in the house. (One on each level) None of the 9 rooms has an ensuite bathroom.
