The hotel is just outside the village. Rooms are immaculate, modern and comfortable with individual small patios, and there is a small outdoor pool.Service was good. The set dinner was stunning and comprised five courses including smoked mackerel, quail, and bream, beautifully presented and served in manageably small portions.( It was expensive though.) Breakfast slightly disappointing- no fresh juice only...

A wonderful location, and simply amazing food. I travel the world eating wonderful food and this compares with some of the very best - a wonderful experience, particularly as I'm a non-meat eater in France! I stayed with my Mum and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Staff were delightful, accommodation was great, we will look for another opportunity to return.

The rooms are new in an old building, good beds, nice sanitaire, surroundings are making this a nice place. 12 km from Carcassonne makes this a good choice. Nice swimming pool. You better use the restaurant, it is excellent and in the vicinity there is nothing else; that doesn't matter with this quality.

We stayed here for a week as a family. Hotel is in rural setting amid beautiful countryside, and very peaceful. Just the place for a restful break. Rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff extremely helpful, although most have limited English and our French isn't up to much so communication not always easy.Hotel easy to find by following signs...

La Bergerie is situated in a delightful quiet secluded spot..The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. The chef and his brigade have created a menu which is superb and really warrants the description of gastronomic. If you enjoy good food and good wine in quiet surroundings this is the place for you.

This was our last meal in the Languedoc in a rather remote location. It was a good meal, worth the journey. My starter of Foie with beef cheeks was nice, a double layer of beef cheeks between with a thin layer of foie in between (maybe a little too thin to be balance the beef cheek). The tartare of half...

Stayed about a month ago. The standard of the food has if anything improved. The menu with the wine included is excellent value. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, excellent bread/ pastries. Local fruit juices and good coffee. As good as our last visit, if not better

We stayed with our 2 children (2 and 5 years) for one day. The room was spacious and with access to the garden and a few meters to the swimming pool. The staff were super-nice and helpful. We really stayed very well. Aragon is a great place for mountin biking with lots of tracks going via the village. The restaurant...

We arrived here late not wanting to eat a full menu. ,.. Hadn't realised we were walking into a Michelin star restaurant. However staff were not helpful, no options other than the full menu, breakfast next morning far from inspiring, and again service poor. Might be fine if you're there for the evening food, but a little too isolated as...

Off the beaten track we found this small hotel with a Michelin star restaurant. Aragon proved to be a small village on a steep hill in the middle of idyllic countryside. We had to approach using narrow country roads (signs helped us find the place), and did not have to regret it. The hotel is well kept, everything is pretty...
