The hotel was a nice surprise. I went to Pico in October, and was expecting an old hotel but it is totally renewed. Nice rooms and a very good breakfast with a big variety of food. Definitely a place to go with family or friends.

Stayed here for ten days while diving. The hotel is quite large and comfortable, no complaints about the room or the service. WiFi, TV hot water and A/C all worked fine and there was a good breakfast spread. The hotel is situated just across the road from the ferry port (but it is not noisy), and less than five minutes...

The hotel has a very good location, just next to the ferry terminal and right in the central part of Madalena. It is in fact the only proper hotel around, and I think that's also their problem, they do not really have any competition. The rooms are ok but nothing more, in our first room the AC didn't work but...

We wanted a central location to stay while exploring Pico Island. It's not a destination hotel, but we didn't plan to spend a lot of time in our room so it fit our needs. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The daily breakfast included in the price was excellent....

Rooms : nice and clean. Not all with a nice view but we do not spend our days in our hotel room so... that was not really important for us ! Breakfast : Big buffet with a lot of different things. Enough for anyone to find something they like ! We enjoyed big breakfasts ! Situation : Very central. If...

The hotel is nice and clean, but not a four stars for the European standards. Even if I have to say that all the four stars in Azores are more or less like this one. The location is good and rooms are good. Very nice the swimming pool. The staff, above alla at the reception, too cold and detached. They...

I spent only one night here, but I would suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to tour Pico during the day and have a comfortable rest in the evening. My room was wide and quiet, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good and qualitative. However, I did't have the feeling of being "at home", I guess that's because the...

The room was good and clean, the air conditioning wasn`t noisy and functioned well , the staff ready to help in any situation and nice. Small village and the hotel is placed facing the sea and the ferry to Faial island.

This has the makings of a nice hotel let down by the fine details. Two areas of real concern. The wifi issue is serious because it just should not be promised if it can't be delivered in room. We had a pathetic excuse about router location. It's a known problem and it should be sorted. Breakfast is chaotic. If the...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days and were completely satisfied. The hotel is very conveniently located within the small city, almost across the street from the ferry terminal and walking distance to just about any restaurant in town. Room was well-appointed, comfortable, clean, and both AC and wireless worked well. Breakfasts are good.
