I noticed this place mentioned on the back of the car parking ticket as we pulled in to visit St Michaels mount. I was a bit sceptical; I imagined it to be some ramshackle pub which would either be absolutely brilliant or awful. As we walked to St Michaels mount, we saw it. From the outside it looked very modern.I... More

We had spent a lovely day at St Michael's Mount and just came in here for a coffee. It looked as though the hotel had just had a makeover. Everything was clean and fresh. There was a balcony with views over to St Michael's Mount. The hotel is dog friendly and there were some well behaved dogs lying under the... More

Loved the colour scheme of the whole hotel. The turquoise/white and a touch of yellow colours gave us a lovely feeling. Amazing view over St Michael's Mount. Nice big bathroom. The restaurant (dinner and breakfast) lived up to our expectations, super tasty and nicely presented choices. The staff were very helpful and polite.

We had a really great lunch outside watching the tide cover the causeway. The sandwiches were really tasty and large and the soup was amazing. I had a trio of local ales and ciders (third of a pint each) which was a great way to sample the local breweries. We had table service and was really well looked after -... More

This is a lovely place to stay. It looks right over St Michael's Mount which is a fab view. I had a very comfy room but the lighting was inadequate but the bathroom was spot on. The lighting in here was perfect. I've been in many hotels where bathroom lighting is so gloomy. I had dinner in the hotel. The... More

Very good, dog friendly hotel - there was a dog bed, treats & water bowl in our room! They even gave us 2 sausages for our dog at breakfast!! Nice, bright, smart rooms, great bathroom. Brilliant views of St Michael's Mount from the restaurant. Really friendly, accommodating staff. Would stay again & definitely recommend

Great location on the beach with the best views of st Michaels mount and the sea. This hotel seems very popular with local people and other visitors all popping in for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At rear is a great outside sitting area viewing the beach and mount. Food is lovely but be aware portions are huge, not been able... More

A close friend visited this establishment and was full of nothing but praise. As my family and I are anticipating visit the area next year, we have voted this is the place for us. Don't want to mix it up with other establishment with same name.

Ideally located across from St. Michael's Mt. Recently refurbished rooms, although some small...pleasant breakfast in restaurant with decent food and beautiful view. Room was noisy until everyone left the restaurant.

Location for St Michaels Mount. Rooms advertised as having luxurios toiletries and bathrobes, (no bathrobes). Room was very small and only had 1 chair so had to sit on bed, the only table had coffee and tea making on it. Avery overpriced room. I made the mistake of booking through booking.com and that was the same price as the hotel... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
