If you want a magical location with a relaxed, laid back style, look no further than The Godolphin Arms. Situatated on the beach at Marazion with stunning views of St Michaels Mount and wide expanses of beach it doesn't get much better. This is our second visit to The Godolphin. We enjoyed our stay so much last year when I...

We stayed here for two nights and were so glad we did! We had an ocean view room which was spacious, bright and clean. I could have stayed in the room all day just staring out the windows! We had views of St. Michael's Mount from two windows! At night when the tide was in, the sound of the water...

I found this hotel on the internet and took a punt on booking it for a long weekend's R&R. My criteria for a hotel room was a sea view, near a beach; ideally with a balcony; not as cloying as a B&B but not as distant as your standard hotel chain. Well blimmey did this hit the mark!! It has...

My Husband and I took our Children here for a meal and we weren't disappointed. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view and were served very quickly and the food arrived in no time! Childs meals were a good size and tasty! Only downside was food and drinks are a bit pricey.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. the restaurant served great food including wonderful breakfasts and all of this against the backdrop of the stunning views of St Michaels Mount. One small negative was that our room was below the bar and at the end and start of shifts we had a variety of cleaning noises...

Very nice location and food pleasant enough however the room is a bit tired and at £220 for the suite overpriced in my opinion. All the staff we met were very nice however the check-in is more like an office than a concierge area and was not a good first impression. Car park convenient once you have worked out where...

Really pleased you enjoyed your stay but we are an Inn and not a hotel and our reception is also a working open plan office. We do our best to meet our guest expectations but it is important to realize we are a beach-side inn and do not market ourselves as a hotel.

The Hotel is more a restaurant with some (11) rooms above it. The steps to get to the rooms are not for the faint hearted. Our room was comfortable - the bed good and the bathroom good. This is not a cheap room either - and we did not have a view of the ocean - the street and the...

Popped in here to sample the menu but I left with in 5 minutes, the extortionate menu prices and small portion sizes of food I observed coming out of the kitchen. You would be lucky to see change from £50. Sorry guys you need to rethink the menu for the working class and not the millionaires.

We stayed for 5 nights in the second week of May. I can understand previous comments about a lack of personality in the hotel. Undoubtedly the top attraction of this hotel / restaurant is the magnificent view of St Michael's Mount and all the entertaining comings and goings on the beach and causeway. So it is understandable that the hotel...

We visited two years ago and gave a glowing review, sadly we can't do the same following this visit. The refurb is lovely, absolutely we can't fault the decor and the big windows/doors, it's light and bright and airy but.... It lacks atmosphere and character. The other thing we were slightly disappointed with was the limited menu. Far less choice...

We have been overwhelmed by the positive response to our refurbishment and I am really sorry it did not impress you as it has the majority of our guests. I am pleased that you said that you would return and I hope on a repeat visit you pick up on the buzz and excitement the changes have created. We now...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
