This place is idea for a short weekend or long weekend stay in S.Felice. You are right on the beach. Breakfast is very simple but nice. The hotel staff makes you feel at home instantly. Rooms are clean and the price is good value for money. Parking space is available inside for first comers and outside for the others.

Visited in early September and it was pleasantly quiet. We had a nice room with a great view of the sea. Staff were very friendly and a lovely breakfast on the terrace looking out at the sea. Quite a few restaurants within walking distance. And parking at the hotel.

Cozy and green structure with garden that slopes down to the sea. The private beach and the rocks with deck equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas offer the possibility of not moving and enjoying a total rest. In fact, even the port, full of bars and restaurants, can be reached on foot. The many cats that populate the garden and ask guests to cuddle cheer up their stay at Villa Penelope. Breakfast is varied and of excellent quality. Restaurant service just as good. The rooms are clean and spacious as well as the bathroom, equipped with window. When Reservation you must take into account that there is no elevator and there can also be 25 steps to climb to get to the room.
One Recommendation for the Owner: All cats, including males, should be sterilized to avoid foul-smelling territorial markings, sexually transmitted feline diseases and road investment deaths from love escapes

We were very pleasantly surprised with our hotel -villa penelope in San Felice Circeo
The room was clean, well furnished, large, had a great balcony and the views of the mediteranean were wonderful. We could not have received more attention or better service if we were in a 5 start luxury hotel. The receptionist Giuliana, was so helpful in addressing every question and providing guidance on what to do or where to visit each day. The beach was only a 2 minute walk from the hotel and several restaurants and bars were only a 5 minute walk. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday and they allow dogs. We will return.

We only stayed one night here. The view was beautiful and the breakfast was good, but there were many other issues. We were disappointed to see that the room had two levels, the bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs which was very inconvenient. The air conditioner was extremely old and barely cooled the room, which during the hot summer, was a problem. When we used the shower that evening before going to dinner, the drain didn't work, so water came out all into the bathroom and flooded the bathroom. We couldn't use the bathroom without stepping in inches of water. When we told the girl at the front desk about it, she said she'd tell someone in the morning. Well, we were checking out in the morning so this wouldn't help, but she said nobody was available until then. She didn't offer to move us to another room, nor did they give us a discount. A very disappointing stay and I would not recommend this hotel.

Amazing location and private beach, cosy and silent room, great breakfast with sea view. We had an amazing time at San Felice Circeo's Villa Penelope. Highly recommended!!!

Unfortunately the check-out is too early - at 11:00 AM we were almost ready to leave and a woman came to our room to hurry us up...It's not kind at all. And if you consider that the check-in time is 15:00...

We stayed at the ritosrante Villa Penelope on August 13.
I leave saying that the place is really very nice including the view at night and the wine we chose was very good.
The same cannot be said of food. We order two fairly simple first courses (of the 4 proposed in the menu). The sauce was totally untied from the pasta, which in both dishes was absolutely raw. The sauce should have been with pomodini that instead were cut raw and put on top of the nonsense pasta. The pasta tasted absolutely nothing. The top when I find an insect on the bottom of the plate (so dropped in the kitchen since it was soaked in oil). My boyfriend kindly tells the cook that it was on his plate but that it was still not such a serious problem, because I was ashamed to say that I found it in mine. The cook pretends that the insect is dried parsley and makes the insect disappear in half a second by throwing it away. SPOILER: in my plate there was no parsley of any kind, and in my boyfriend's at most it was fresh parsley. AH, and I don't know if the parsley has wings.
After this scene, I have a dessert, a chocolate semifreddo with Campari sauce. I didn't like the sauce at all but they are tastes, I couldn't eat the semifreddo, it was frozen and I couldn't cut the bite with the teaspoon. At this point we left after two cockroaches walked at my feet while we ate, and the waiter did not think to change the blanket at a table not yet booked after a stray cat spread itself on the table (we even managed to take a picture of the cat on the table).
The price was absolutely not cheap but I would have been happy to pay it for a nice evening. We made no fuss after the 'flying' parsley scene so as not to spoil our anniversary night.
We will not return and advised not to return.

Strategic location of the property, stunning views, very helpful and friendly hotel staff.
Private beach! In this period the
oceanic posidonia unfortunately settles on the shore, despite this all very comfortable. The guys hired on the beach proved willing to clean the beach and areas in front, making the beach service perfect, all with great grace. Appreciate the service. Thank you very much. We will certainly return.

VILLA PENELOPE in SanFeliceCirceo? UNO SCRIGNO! Containing an oasis of tranquility surrounded by nature, articulated along a slight green slope, well-kept and varied, overlooking the sea with private beach + rocks and related services (lifeguard assistance, umbrellas, sun loungers). Various tables and chairs at different levels, where you can entertain alone or in company. Specific large and comfortable verandas dedicated to catering: from the well-stocked and varied cafeteria, to lunch from the menu varied every day based on fresh catch and supplies of the day. With clearly unique recipes, created by an Expert and imaginative chef. Comfortable, well-kept and spotless accommodations, which have nothing to envy to expensive "suites". What about the Staff? Welcoming, friendly, helpful, very kind without being formal -everyone: from Reception to every single Operator-. All enlivened by small and cuddly cats that live and circulate in green spaces. Not negligible the availability of a dedicated CAR PARK. The costs are average. My son and I, unfortunately, stayed very little, but now that we have experienced it -as soon as possible- we will repeat the experience. In fact, suppose June and September are even more pleasant times.

Tidy rooms, a little more care in cleaning wouldn't be bad but overall it's ok, fantastic internal staff especially Raffaella, the girl who makes breakfast in the morning, there are people like that, nice, genuine, knows how to manage the room , with education, sense of duty, helpful kindness, in short, a wonderful girl, and in my opinion wasted on only making breakfasts. I would go back just for his friendliness really. The rest of the reception staff are professional and friendly, the place is facing the sea with a spectacular view, breakfast and very abundant top food. Recommended overall really peaceful.
