Firstly the hotel doesn't have that summer hotel feeling, I'd say it's more of a city style hotel, which is completely fine, if that's what you're looking for. It had great potential with outdoor spaces but lacked any real atmosphere.
Rooms:
The room we had was a basic double room but was very clean and spacious. Bathroom was big and clean too- can't really fault the rooms much. We were unfortunately on the road side so can be a bit noisy during peak traffic times. There is a small mini fridge with chargeable drinks but we kept our own stuff in here to keep it cool. Only main downside was that there was no balcony furniture which we found really odd. It ruined the experience of not being able to sit out on the balcony, HOWEVER we found out on our last night that you could ask at reception, and they would bring chairs up for you, which was our own fault. So make sure to ask on arrival. A little note in rooms or even informing at check for guests of this, would be handy.
Amenities:
There didn't seem to be a hotel bar open when we were there but there is a tropical themed bar next door which you can access through the 2nd floor but isn't really for families or couples- younger crowd. Which was a shame there seemed to be a big empty communal balcony area that had lots of potential.
Pool:
The pool is deceivingly small, I'd not recommend for kids, there's not really enough room for them to play and swim about but fine for just a "quick dip" for adults. There is a jacuzzi which is actually not too warm so it's really refreshing. Usually enough sun beds, if we didn't get one straight away, we managed to come back an hour later and there were ones free.
The pool bar is great, good beers and cocktails and also bar snacks! Didn't try the food but looked lovely.
Area:
The actual town is lovely, the hotel is right next to a small stip of bars and restaurants and about 5/10 min walk to the beach. If going to the beach, go across to the budget euro store across from the hotel and purchase cheap chairs and an umbrella. Almost everyone at the beach has them and you definitely need the umbrella for shade. There is a fab steak restaurant just across the road called "el Patio", would highly recommend for amazing value steak and wine.
Firstly the room had the smell of 'smoking' which had got into the curtains and was very unpleasant. I take it some one was smoking at the door to the balcony and the smoke alarm failed to pick this up? Housekeeping must have been aware of this. As you state in your website ,it is smoke free and you can 'breathe deeply' and a fine of e100? We had unpacked by then and solved the problem over several days by applying Air freshner. As to housekeeping this was not up to standard of a 4* hotel ,as the sheets and towels were exchanged , but not changing used cups or cleaning the bathroom floor especially around the toilet. Website states 'Safe stay hotel'. As stated in a past review no coffee replenished in the room? Had to ask at reception. The hairdryer had the universal concentrator broken as well as the shelf in the mini fridge. Spoke to reception about replacements but nothing was done. The staff at reception were pleasant but appear complacent.
Its not a bad hotel but you just need to up your game and have some quality control over housekeeping.
We stayed in Rm 310

I am so sad that I have to write this one after coming here many times since this hotel opened. I will try to keep this to detail, honest and factual.
We booked a suite costing over 200 euro per night (4 nights @ 850euro) we booked this suite room 415 as it was special to us. I was mortified at the state of this room. photos attached
1) dangerous and ILLEGAL electric plug socket
2) Rusty shower trays
3) filthy shower
4) toilet roll hanging off
5) Furniture dusty and tatty
6) fridge ddnt work
You dont expect this for the price you pay, neither should you accept this full stop, the room (suite) was not fit for purpose. I went to reception to complain. The reception staff are probably the saving of this hotel, I couldnt fault them so a big thank you.
I was then given an 'upgrade' to the business jacuzzi suite, this was initially ok however it was NOT the room we wanted or booked. Then the issues continued, the air con did not work, the TV had only one station. The maintenance man eventually knocked at MIDNIGHT! to try to fix the air con, it still didnt work and in such a hot season with temps up to 38 was unbearable. He also couldnt fix the TV
I wrote to the CEO twice when I came home, Benito Gomez he chose not to reply. The general manager, Pedro said (i have this in writing) that i could have a refund... he then back tracked and offered me or my family discounts on future visits, I explained that I would never return due to the expericnce. I have not heard anything back since. I feel so let down. Pedro the manager kept telling me how lucky I was to have the jacuzzi suite, this wasnt luck this was because they have failed in both rooms
Bed was uncomfortable with the flattest 2 pillows I’ve ever seen , might as well have not had one, my pillow case had rips in it too.
Room had a kettle with a lid that didn’t close and we had 2 breakfast tea bags, 2 menthol tea bags, 2 sugars and 2 small milk/ cream pods, no coffee sachets. I have never known a hotel that provides a kettle that supplies tea bags and no coffee especially in Spain where coffee is a firm favourite at morning times. I’m sure they don’t provide it in the hotel as they want you to use their restaurant.
There was a small fridge stocked with a few fizzy drinks and water , we used one bottle of water and at €3 for a small bottle we didn’t buy anymore.
We just thought the hotel was basic, for what we paid it really wasn’t worth it, I do find though that the “ star rating” for anything in Spain regarding facilities etc is wrong, what they say is 4 star is really 3. A Premier Inn back in the UK is much nicer than this hotel AND it’s cheaper, great value for money. We definitely won’t be stopping at the 525 hotel again.
If the hotel was advertised as a 3* then it would meet expectations.
The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The local bars and restaurants are on the doorstep.
The downside is the facilities. The air conditioning was off for winter so the rooms were quite uncomfortable, the pool was closed for the winter and the bars in the hotel were not open until 6 pm.
Nice staff. Comfortable bar. The only thing we couldn't stand were small square pillows stuffed with cut up sponge pieces. Very uncomfortable and very strange. We asked if there were larger pillows for on top of the bolster, but we're told no.
Very strange that in the room there is a water cooker and cups, but no tea bags or coffee bags. You have to buy it yourself, if you want to make tea of coffee in the room. Bars and restaurants, also for cheap breakfast ae very close by
