One of the best medium size hotels..great welcome fantastic room with view of the bay...food second to none ...only slight niggle no car park I'm fussy about this but don't let this put you off loads of room on street and outside front.....not many hotels like this we just loved it .....A1. Highly recommend it ....

We stayed in the Balmoral for 1 night as we were at a wedding there. Very pleasant stay, rooms are basic but clean, tea and coffee available and large bottle of water in the room. The food at the wedding was excellent and staff were efficient. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant which is on the first floor looked...

Great wee find. Lovely room and very clean. No reception desk which is a bit confusing. Finally got the girl to show us the room. Dinner was lovely - not too much food but a good balance. Breakfast was popor - no fruit offered unless you went for the continental. Would be standard to offer this as part of the...

We went to the Balmoral to sample the award winning restaurant, and stayed the night. The room was the suite at the top of the house and was magnificent. Huge room, great small balcony with an uninterrupted view down the magnificent Carlingford Lough. The en-suite is also worthy of praise bigger than many rooms I have stayed in, beautifully decorated and...

Have stayed at this hotel quite a few times now and it never fails to deliver. The staff are welcoming and efficient and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We upgraded to the seaview suite as we try to do most times when it is available - well worth the extra cost - spacious with the most amazing view. We...

We stayed in this hotel two weeks ago, it says free parking but we were told to park across the street near the shore as there is none. To our amazement we were checked in at the public bar. The room was adequate and has a safe, tea, coffee and plenty of biscuits but the sink in the bathroom was...

After quite a wait without a greeting or an acknowledgement of our presence ,we were unsure if service was at the bar only .I caught the attention of one staff member who seemed surprised we wanted to order food. There was quite a wait but when the food arrived it was worth it,very delicious, well presented & very tasty, but once...

I recently stayed here, and from the moment you arrive you felt part of the community. It was great, the room was well appointed. The check in process seem less, the locals were great and I even joined for a few drinks most nights. The breakfast was wonderful, and the food in general was of an extremely high standard. The...

First visit to this hotel and it won't be the last! Staff very friendly and efficient. Excellent food in restaurant (very reasonably priced compared to Belfast). Weekend breakfast did not start until 9am. When I requested breakfast at 8 am it was no problem. Lovely view of Carlingford Lough from the restaurant.
